I got my Brissy tix this morning for the 19th. But now im stuck there for 2 days after the 2nd show. oh well.
Everything is now set. I leave Newcastle on the 9th of june and return on the 25th. Its Gunna be the best fuckin time of my life.

I'll be at the Perth show and both Melbourne ones too.? Anyone going to those will be able to recognise me coz I will be wearing this old GN'R leather tour jacket that I recently acquired.  So if ya see me feel free to come over and have a beer and talk crap about GN'R with me.

I'll definitely be having beers before the shows - the Perth one I will probably be over the road at the Casino since its right next door, so I will definitely get warmed up first with a few pints over there. But as far as Melbourne goes I'm not sure where is a good place to head to - since I'm from Perth - any suggestions from any locals???

I want as close to the venue as possible as taxi's that night will be a as scarce as anything...

what , do you mean the promotion there already doing for the concerts in australia,
eg Tv, Radio, Magazine, internet ads? promoting the concerts?

Nothing else to promote, caus the cd isnt out yet...

Back in 1993 (when GN'R last toured here) Coca-Cola ran a huge promotional competition for fans to collect as many Coke bottle caps as they could and bid for a whole bunch of GN'R-related items, including a Gibson guitar, GN'R CDs, leather jacket and a Ute with GN'R graphics on it. I think they even had those 'Axl' Converse shoes that Axl wore at the time.

It would be cool to see something like that again this time around, but if we haven't seen anything like that yet, I doubt we will.

I used to know the guy that won the Axl converse shoes, they were autographed by Axl too.  I also know somone who knows the guy that won the replica UYI drum kit.  I have been hoping he will manage to get in touch with the guy again to see if he wanted to sell it.

Yeah me too - I hasseled this guy for ages to try and get him to sell the shoes.  He was the friend of a friend, who I have since lost touch with.  But I have always wondered what ever happened to those shoes.

I doubt it. Bands sometimes do a Channel V thing but I dont think Guns will. Would be cool tho.
Has anyone seen anything on any of the music channels about GN'R coming to Aus?

Bassist STEVE KING Quits ROSE TATTOO - May 22, 2007

Bassist Steve King has reportedly left legendary Australian rockers ROSE TATTOO in order to focus on other musical projects. A replacement bassist has not yet been announced.

ROSE TATTOO's new album, entitled "Blood Brothers", was released in February via Armageddon Music. The group's video for the track "Black Eyed Bruiser" can be viewed at YouTube.com. The song is the first single from "Blood Brothers", which was produced by veteran Australian producer Mark Opitz (INXS, COLD CHISEL, KISS). "Black Eyed Bruiser" was written by the band's original production team, Harry Vanda and George Young, who also were AC/DC's producers.

ROSE TATTOO will support GUNS N' ROSES on their Australian tour in June.
