Tommy is probably gonna show up with a bruised eye and nervously tell people that he walked... into a door, while getting the evil eye from Axl.

I could see that.

Isn't this surreal?

I love being a GNR fan.  No other band's fans get to bond like this... gathering on the internet to debate if concerts will actually happen.

I'm tellin' ya, those other clowns don't know what they're missin'.

It really depends on the severity of the injury to Tommy. If it is just a sprain or  bruise, he will  be ok. If it is ligament damage, then he won't be playing for a while. No South Africa.

But I hope the show  goes  on!

Damn you guys.. and what were the odds..
Looks like Tommy's injury is more severe than assumed
Who knows how long it will take for this injury to heal so he can comfortably play bass

A sprained wrist is a really nasty injury to get for anyone, even more so for anyone who plays an instrument/sport as the wrist is prone to both overuse injury and repetitive strain injury - the irony being that the rehab exercises are usually repetitive wrist rolls and curls. Two weeks isn't an unreasonable amount of time to allow for recuperation but it's really easy to re-injure the weak wrist, so it could take a lot longer.

Not to sound too negative, but when was the last time GNR still did a show after it was reported to be cancelled/postponed?

BS.

GN'R will appear. Many hear think that GnR cancel gigs for fun. This was perhaps done in the past, but not anymore nowadays. In 2006 the band was very reliable and this will not have changed.
