Slash interview with RockandPop

Thanks to Pablo, RockandPop Argentinian radio station recently posted an interview with Slash. In the interview, Slash talked about touring US again after the Europe tour and touring in Asia, he also talked about GN'R and working on his own solo album. It's about half an hour long, click the link below to download it.

That would be cool! I would love to have a new Slash album, and yes, I think I prefer Rod Jackson, but it is hard to say (I like both)

The solo album Slash was working on right before VR had lot's of different guests, including Izzy  Cool He talked about writing and recording with Izzy in 2002 Guitar One magazine, the one about the AFD anniversery. Hopefully that stuff will come out some day..

Yeah, he could release the 'GN'R album' they wrote with Izzy, too, that was nixed by Weiland. But I'd be happy to hear him doing a Santana-type album, too.

You're assuming Izzy would let him release it just like that.

Maybe it's more like an Izzy Stradlin album with Duff and Slash making an appearance than a Slash album with Duff and Izzy. That has happened before you know.

I'd be cool if Slash did a Santana type album, using many different singers--Ozzy, Mick Jagger, David Lee Roth, etc.

Fuck off back to your guns n covers section if you got nothing positive to say here, oh thats right that train wreck you call a band are currently falling apart at the seams with that album nowhere near coming up, whats up son???

You aa little jealous that us vr fans are getting what we want and thats new music and world tour, why you come bitching here and your keeping really quiet over in the gnr section, is it cause mr rose has climbed back into his hole again?

Your meant to be the admin of this board, you of all people should support both bands not come in slagging vr just cause you got nothing to talk about over in guns n covers land.

Remember a few years ago when you reported news about vr but then you stopped when axl flung you a bone and got you in his pocket along with this board, when this board went to shit as well by the way.

You might just regret all the shit your stating with vr cause if axl is away in hiding again cause you might just need the vr fans keeping your precious site alive, what happened son did axl stop flinging you your bone???

Sounds like it.

Oh and by the way you obviously havent watched the footage of the webcast show new tunes were rocking slash is on top form and this vr you keep slagging played the gnr covers better than your precious train wreck of a band, sorry dictatorship like this place.

Your meant to be an admin try and act like one.

Get it all out there.  ok

Hey Falcon, what do you think of this one?

I was replying to the topic and look what this ass clown is doing......

For the record, I don't think releasing the album with Duff, Izzy and Slash is only up to Slash.

Since Izzy has had both of them guest on his solo albums, I wouldn't be surprised if the material is more of an Izzy album than a Slash album. That's what I meant and I have no fucking idea what the verbal diarrhea quoted above has to do with the topic. Maybe one of you VR fans can tell me...

I'm pretty sure that's what Slash was working on prior to VR. I remember him mentioning it at the time that he was working on an album of many different styles and different singers.

So I don't think Slash means another Snakepit, or Izzy/Duff album when he refers to the possibilty of a new 'Slash' album.
