In "Greatest Movie Survivor", fire represents death, when the Movie's credits roll, the movie goes up in flames, when the names are read, the decision is final and they must leave the tribal council area immediately. I'll go tally the votes.

Goodfellas, bring me your torch.

The Tribe has spoken.

Thanks to all who participated in this marathon hihi its def been an up and down road. Also i'm kinda shocked at the top 5 but what can ya do i suppose when a bunch of people vote then the results aren't always what you'd expect

so basically you hate the only original movie in the list?

this is the most mainstream top 5 i have ever seen - beside clockwork -. there are so many amazing movies in the world, and eveytime we have a top 5; we get pulp fiction and the godfather.

i mean Huh?!!! Pulp Fiction? you like this movie when you're 13?

why is clockwork original? It's is just a mixture of diffrent generas.

what counts as being original? The truth is it;s all opinions and people can have different opinions. Now you and I may not agree with it but doesn't mean their opinions are any less valid.

How do you choose a best of all time.. is it the best made , the movie you like the most, ect...

Original in what way? It was adapted from Antony Burgess's novel.
I just found the movie boring that's all.

i mean Huh?!!! Pulp Fiction? you like this movie when you're 13?

Perhaps, but now that's an original movie.

Original in the form, the shape, the content. The message.
It is complete. It's a real movie.

But anyway, you guys have to agree that these movies are very much mainstream. it would be like ranking the American Psycho book over Victor Hugo or Kafka ....

i'd call the survivor  Neemo's Greatest Mainstream Movie of All-Time Survivor

Well, when you have a movie survivor, it has to be about movies that everyone has seen. Or how would it work otherwise? So there's nothing wrong with the movies being "mainstream".

Al 5 films in the list are excellent. ?A Clockwork Orange should have won it because it is simply better than the others. ?'Original' isn't the point, it's powerful and inventive with incredible music and dialogue and a really good story. ?It's unique and a masterpiece so LOVE IT! Angry

Shawshank is a really powerful film and I like it a lot but I preferred the Green Mile and wouldn't have either film near the top 5.

Pulp Fiction was unlucky not to win it I reakon. ?It's ultimately cool - everyone should love Pulp Fiction!

The Godfather - very good film. ?I'm glad it beat Goodfellas cause it's a lot better.. ?A worthy winner in that is probably is one of the best movies of all time, though it wouldn't have been my choice.

Goodfellas just doesn't belong there. no

Opinions are like assholes, right?  Everyone's got one.

The subjectivity is what makes it fun.

I'm happy that my #1 made it as far as it did, to #3.
