Let It Roll should be the first single - such an awesome song. Really, everything a great rock song should be.

I agree, Let It Roll seems like a better choice than this song.

Classic means it stands the test of time and will be remembered by all 50 years from now.

Snakepit stuff IS NOT Classic.

exactly.  WTTJ = classic, Paradise City = classic.   No Snakepit or VR song is a classic, and the only one with that kind of potential MAYBE is Slither, but we'll know the answer to that in a few years.

Madagascar is way more advanced and complex than what VR produces.

Thanks for the laugh.

Please  confused, STOP FROM MAKIN' STUPID THEORIES ABOUT WHICH  (VR OR AXL) SONGS ARE BETTER OR WHICH ONES ARE GOIN' TO BE CLASSICS IN THE NEXT YEARS. They're only your fuckin' point of view  yes. Please enjoy the music

On the other hand, I don't know if this songs is gonna do so good as Slither did, the only thing that I know it's the more I hear it the more I like it. At first Iit didn' impress me very much but now It's really growin' on me quickly. I think it's a really powerfull and amazin' Rock Song. On the billboard interview Duff describes it really good, It has a great riff, a great chorus, an amazin' mid-part and an amazin' Slash's solo.

See this is what I dont get, why the fuck do people even worry about if a song is a classic or not...

Can't you just take the songs for what they are, good decent rock songs...

A song doesn't have to be a classic to like it you know...

^ I agree. Can you imagine the millions  of rock songs that have been released, and only a very very small percentage are considered classics.

Hey, we have new music from VR, they will tour, and it is great seeing Slash live again. Life is good and we should be glad.

Where did I say it had to be classic to be loved?

Slash is right up there with Axl for me, I like them almost equally, So I am not a Slash basher, I am simply pointing out that in GNR Slash wrote 5 or 6 of the greatest riffs and solos in music history, Riffs and Solos that will be heard 100 years from now.
Since leaving GNR he hasnt.

Still good songs, riffs, and solos. He still is way better than all 3 New GNR guitarists combined, but he doesn't seem as motivated to write greatest of all time stuff anymore. He is happy with good.

What the hell did you not understand about this?

Get back on topic kids, save the GNR talk for the GNR section.

Thanks

I know you're not a Slash basher, I got the feeling from your post that you were trying to say that all that slash has written after guns was...well weak material.

Talk about Slash all ya want, but when you throw out comparisons such as below the inevitable horseshit will ensue.? Plenty of that dicussion in the Dead Horse section.
