It's the fault of everyone here that there's no word on Brain.

If, IF Guns came out tomorrow and said no more Brain and you won't hear a single note of Buckethead on the album, the shit storm of whiners and bitchers would be incomprehensible. They're probably keeping the info, what ever it may be, on the down low just to spare Jarmo from a week of hell. 

Better to wait til the labum comes out if they DO have any news on Brain or Buckethead to pass on.

I think everyone is making a bid deal out of the Brain thing... homeboy wants to chill with his daughter and he's obviously got the coin to take some time off...  I'm sure if most people could afford that kind of option, they'd do it in a second...  I think it's pretty cool that the band hasn't kicked him out...  I know if I walked into work and told my boss, hey I think I'll just chill for the next year with my kid and not show up - he'd fire my ass in a second...  then again, lots of people can be jizz moppers...

I'm not too fussed, Frank does a good job on the boots that I've seen. Drummers are more easily replaceable than guitarists/singers.

things axl rose has done since 1988:

-incited 3 riots

-repeatedly used security personnel to harass fans who wanted to take pictures or record bootlegs at shows

-canceled tour dates to finish an album, and then relaunched a tour months later with no album

They are both very competent drummers. I appreciate both of their contributions in the band. Obviously this isn't the case at this time but if Brain were not to return for any reason it would be a shame because he has bought the band to where they are today, but at the same time Frank is a great drummer, so nothing is lost in terms of musicianship.

Jarmo, why are you getting mad at alot of people today. I came into this thread before and you and a couple of other people had arguments which led into you banning them. Did they really deserve to be banned. I mean, Chinesedemoc has been a member since 04, even though that doesn't mean he's great, showing by his post count and previous posts and threads, he seem's like a good user. He was just trying to contribute to conversation. I understand he was a little pissed at you, but at least he was man enough to tell you and not hold it back. I'm not trying to start an argument at all, so please don't take this wrong at all dude. You are a great admin on these boards and I don't want to start anything off wrong. A few answers would be all. I respect everyones opinion and yours will definitely be respected. Remember, I'm doing the complete opposite of starting a flame war with you. I want to keep this clean.
