And im not talking about his kid. the band should be open and truthful about it. we all know he's out, but why keep us in the dark? Its too bad because Brain has been in the band for a long while and is a great drummer. gnr is much better with him in the band.

Yeah I look foward to Brain joining GNR again. ?Mysteron confirmed a few months back that Brain is still in the band and will rejoin GNR at some point. ?Until I hear otherwise from gunsnroses.com or Axl, I'm assuming he's still in the band. ?He's the best drummer Gnr ever had in my opinion.

Im not not saying this because its GnR. But Frank and Brain gotta be one of the best drummer out there.. Along with Danny Carey.
And Brain is still in the band, no reason to doubt that.. It would be no problem to announce his dep. if he had quit, since Frank is there..

Let the fans know who is in the band they love...thats it.......... |

We had official word on the website that said Brain and Frank are part of the GNR family. I would have liked to have seen brain on the 06 NA tour, I was fortunate enough to see him at HAmmerstein. I would like to see Brain touring with GNR when CD is released because he's been there since 2001. But we don't know anything about him, maybe his wife and new born really need him around. We should be glad we have someone as enthusiastic as Frank to want to be part of the band.

jarmo lets be honest mate......im a firm beiever the album will come out this year but as fans we have been shit on from a great height....how many offical updates has axl given us in 15 years???
you cant really say he wasnt active in that time period because we all know he was with different musicians.
saying that on the other hand.......there could be lots of legal shit....record company problems or he just dosnt givew a shit but one thing is for sure if they tour again with the same setlist and no album by the year is out i will never visit anything gnr related again becuase it will have turned into a joke

Brian is in the band but not touring because he had a disagreement with band members about the albums release date. They never gave a firm date that lived up to the release so he decided to just stay out which as of now we know its Frank is in the band. Whether Brian is going to come back is unknown.

Whether its Brain or Frank who ultimately turns out to be the lead drummer, it does not make much difference to me, I like them both.
Brain adds a bit more dimension to the songs while Frank is more personable with the fans it seems.

You have to agree though there is precedent in terms of the band not being truthful about the status of one of its members and whether or not they had left. You remember them swearing up and down he was still in the band despite media outlets saying otherwise, Only for Axl to confirm in that Rio letter that he had been gone a while. This wouldn't be the first time this sort of thing has happened with this band. |
