I just saw some pictures from Robin's website and found one in the "Bird Eyes View" where Richard and Izzy is jamming together in the studio. I'm pretty sure Izzy will help on some songs, but do you think that other old GN'R members maybe have been helping too??

Izzy was touring with them.  that is why you see pics with him and bandmembers.

I would have to say no.  I doubt even Izzy has recorded with the new band, strictly just live performances I would think.

You don't really think Slash or Duff or Matt were recording for CD do you? They have their own band; Axl has his.

I simply cannot imagine that anyone from the old  band, including Izzy, has recorded  anything with  the new  band.
Izzy came out  at  shows to play some  old songs. He did not play new songs.
There  is no reason  why Slash, Duff or Matt would record with GNR now.

The only thing I can think of is maybe a possibility of Duff playing with Robin and Josh (or maybe even Sorum) in early '97 or '96.

But no, I don't think anything recently.

Izzy's contribution could only strengthen this album.

It's be great to have a little leftover Duff on it as well.

I haven't seen the picture being referred to but....are you sure it's Izzy?  I think Richard looks a lot like Izzy at certain times.

You should have seen the cover they wanted to do. It wasn't a glove, believe me.

I think the pic is actually them jamming before a show, backstage. One of the shows Izzy played. I could be wrong.
