I'm hoping they will, but I highly doubt that GNR will come here without a album. The concert sales all over are great but in United States it was so- so, I would love to see the band rock here again this year but now with the cancelled Japan dates and rescheduling it seems they may be overseas all year on this leg of tour?

They are clearly hitting markets they missed last year. Asia, Australia, Mexico and South America. They won't hit Europe or the US again, and if so only ultimo 2007 and if the album comes out after the Summer.

Last years European trek was amazing ticketsale-wise, pretty much sold out everywhere. For a band to do that - 14 years after their last album release and after a lineup change since 1996 - is otherworldly. Bu they did it. That speaks longitudes about Axl, the songs and the legacy. And the new band since 90% leaving those shows thought they blew the old band outta the ballpark. Rough estimate  Wink

I believe the Americna trek afterwards (in 2006) sold very well? Haven't got the numbers on that.

not as strong as europe, but not the failure some people make it out (or wish) it to be.

I think we'll see GnR in America again in 2007.   If they do release the album, then I'd say its almost a given.

I think they'll play in the US sometime in 07.  I hope for a mini tour in August that would be awesome, or September.  I saw them three times in 06 and the show at Hammerstein was my favorite.  I hope they do smaller venues.

I hope they play around New Jersey/New York/Pennsylvania if they do indeed pay the US a visit this year. I'd love to see them live again.  ok

I'm an optimist.  GNR will tour North America in '07 behind Chinese Democracy.  It will happen.

I could be wrong here because I'm not expert on geography but I think one reason sales for the European tour were better than the U.S. dates may have been because they hit basically all the BIG cities in the European countries. ?Shows at the major cities in the U.S. sold very well. ?But they played shows in West Virginia, North Carolina, Iowa, etc. ?Not exactly NYC, London, Paris if you catch my drift. ?And again, I don't even know, those shows I mentioned may have sold very well (I think West Va. did). ?Just a thought.

And yes I do think they'll be back to play the States, at least I hope.

I would think so. It really depends on how the band feels, how Chinese Democracy fairs on the charts and in public acceptance.

They missed a lot of big metro areas on the last tour.

San Diego, Dallas, Houston, New Orleans, Denver, Phoenix, Washington DC, South Jersey/Philly (they can play Camden or Atlantic City).

Question, is there a reason that GNR never play Atlanta? I think they were in trouble with the law in Georgia back in 87, but surely 20years later they could play there. Atlanta is a huge city.

I think Axl still has an arrest warrant there from the early '90's

All of their shows in Canada were either soldout or very, very close to being soldout, and they played all of their concerts in 15000-18000 seat arenas...Canada still loves their GNR!!

yes thats a good chunk of the country and most of those cities would likely be sell out crowds.

I saw GNR at the 1st Mariner Arena.  And I really hope they play there again, the arena is so much easier to get to then the Verizon Center, and parking is easier at 1st Mariner too.  A House of Blues show in AC would definitely be money !!

Could have sworn I heard Axe say they were coming to the States again in the summer. Thats what I remember hearing. I would be thrilled if theyy toured here in the summer. Any tristate natives, do ya think theres any chance that Guns would play at the PNC Bank arts center? Theyve done smaller gigs.
