I have a jvc digital video camera, its pretty small..... If i were to get caught with it, would they give it back?

I think Digital Camera's are allowed, but I'm not sure.

If it's a JVC DV camcorder, then no. It's not "allowed." Technically, no cameras are allowed either, but the band and security are more concerned with video and audio taping than picture taking.

I hope someone at least just video records just 1 song , just for memory sakes, especially sydney 23rd concert,
and brisbane 20th concert....

If anyone has the equipment and willingness to do so, I congragulate you,
and ill pay$$$ money for the final product , if anyone needs some motivation...

Im not saying giving money to bootleggers is a good thing,
but this case, it doesnt apply here, caus im going to the concert,
and I want memories of it, and ill be playing it every day , to relive one of the best days of my life...

When you are able to relive a concert experience using your mind and memory then it becomes legendary. You'll have a cool concert story that you can tell over and over again. A great way to get a chick at a party. Imagine how much eye contact you will lose by playing a recording of the concert !
In my view, I'd rather have guy describe to me their concert experience than listen to the technology.

Id rather listening to a show ive been to, better yet, WATCHING a show ive been to, then to just "relive the memories" as you put it...

Memories fade, but having something that you can listen/watch doesn't....

look at it this way...

if what your saying is true, then why do couples have their wedding filmed/photographed/whatever,
to helpe preserve the memory, and to reinforce how much of a kick fucking ass time it was...

(It also helps having something to look back on, if your drunk on the night)

I dont even know how to upload it onto a computer.
But what ill do is send it to someone from this board and get them to sort it all out.?

How can you enjoy it if you are looking down a camera lens the whole night? It will stop you from living in the moment beacuse you will be all caught up with the technology. You will be thinking "is it recording properly" rather than "hey!  I like that fingering on the guitar"!
Have you ever been on a coach tour with a person who is recorder mad. They are often looking out the wrong window of the bus, trying to capture the light or something whilst missing all the action outside the other window.

On a serious note, Do we have any volenteers to record any of the shows. chances are I can only record the 1st Sydney show and thats about it. Unless I get a free recorder before I hit Perth. But I dont think that'll happen.
Just so we have an Idea of what shows we might have can the people recording let us know what shows you plan on doing. Cheers
