Looking at things realistically, the Eagles and Giants both look good so far. But even if they finished 3rd in the East, they could still grab the 2nd Wild Card spot. I definitely think the East is the best division in the NFC.

i think the skins will end up being a .500 team or worse. i'm guessing they win 7 games. their schedule gets much tougher the rest of the way.
birds vs. cowboys today. huge rivalry. philly HATES dallas. i'm a little worried about this one. we're coming off an emotional road win, we have to travel to dallas, and next week is our bye. this is a dangerous spot. (which is why we're only favored by 3.) dallas could steal this game.
NE - falcons at 1. birds at 4. great day.

We destroyed Philly, and now have beat the Giants.
Minnesota are Morons for trading Randy Moss.
they suck!
why are they in trouble for the orgy?
is that illegal?

With the orgy, I think we did some stuff out in the open and apparantely some of the people that witnessed what went down were like offended or something. Even if its not illegal, is that the way you want your team to conduct itself?

i hate the cowboys. but they should be 6-1 right now. they gave away two games this season.
birds pulled out a tough win yesterday with a blocked punt return for a TD with 2 minutes left. things weren't looking good either. but our D played incredible. LT is the greatest RB in the history of football according to some commentators, and the birds held him to 7 yards rushing. late in the game he was still at negative yards, then he picked up a few on the last 2 drives.
there's alot of similarities between this game and the game 2 years ago when westbrook returned a punt for a TD late against the giants.
by the way, NFC east is by far the toughest division in the league.

Hail to the Redskins!
Hail victory!
Braves on the warpath
Fight for 'ol DC!
I don't remember the last time the Redskins blew out a team that badly. Great to see Arrington back in on defense. He had 9 tackles. And finally we got to the QB and caused some turnovers.

even aside from the blowout vs. the 49ers, the skins have been playing well. i'm going to the skins-birds game on new years day (last game of the season). i'm worried that it could be one of those games that doesn't matter, but it could end up being a HUGE game with playoff implications.
skins-giants this week for first place. i hope that's televised locally here in philly. the nfc east is back.

The NFC East is back big time. Back in the day it was the best division in football, and I think it is once again. Every team hates each other. Its a beautiful thing.

There was talk of the Jets being a super bowl contender by the way they looked pre season. Then the injuries started and we're left with a 4th string QB.

I hated to see Chad Pennington go down. He's one of my favorite QB's currently in the NFL.

I can't understand why they brought in Fiedler to back up Chad. When he was with Miami he was hurt a lot of the time. Fiedler was good for like 7 plays and then he got hurt.

I can't stand Fiedler! He sucked in Miami and he still sucks now. When will teams figure out he has no talent?

On the subject of ineffective quarterbacks, maybe the Jets could pick up Kurt Warner. He should be looking for a job again soon!

Hey, if the Jets are bad enough maybe they can land Matt Leinart in the draft.

i'm convinced matt leinart will be a bust in the nfl. i think brady quinn will have a better career.
eagles looked like shit again. there were all kinds of crazy stats/records from this game.
mcnabb was 0-12 passing to start the game.
birds were down 21-0 or 28-0 before mcnabb completed a pass.
broncos had 2 100-yard rushers and plummer threw for 300 yards (i think that was the first time in history).
just an awful game. but the birds fought back and made it 28-21 in the 3rd. we had the ball at the broncos 25 yard line and mcnabb threw an INT in the end zone.
we have the skins next week - sunday night in washington. they looked worse than we did yesterday.

Does anyone think Marcus Vick will be an effective passing QB? Or will he be more like his brother, a runner/passer?

I think its too early to tell with Marcus, but at this point he looks a lot like Mike Vick to me.
