Redskins open up with a W.  Defense looked good.  I'd have to say the surprise of Week 1 was definitely the Dolphins...didn't see that one coming.

i agree the eagles need TO to win it all. but i believe lewis and brown are gonna have great years. and that we will not miss stinkston or 1-catch freddy at all.

any predictions on the game tonight? the birds are far better than the falcons. we create several matchup problems for them when we have the ball. and we've proven to be able to contain vick.

but i'm a little worried that the falcons might make some big special teams plays or force a few turnovers or something which will change the course of the game.

still, i am cautiously predicting an eagles win.

this pre-game fight is INSANE! i thought it was gonna turn into a brawl when the two teams got in each other's faces. i've never seen anything like it.

i can't believe trotter got ejected before the game even started. HUGE loss for the birds. he is a major part of the D.

i don't know the rules but trotter never threw a punch. this is BS. and it's not good for the birds.

mcnabb looked like shit. he has 6 turnovers in his last 2 games. both losses by a combined 7 points.

and vick sucks. his passing didn't look any better than last year.

If Trotter did throw a punch its an automatic ejection, but if he indeed threw one seems to be in question.  Big loss though, probably cost them the game.  That backup MLB looked absolutely lost against the run.

the end of that game was awesome! i'm glad i woke up to see it.

i hate the cowboys and knowing that all cowboy fans are miserable today makes me feel good. they really thought they were gonna be 4-0 heading into the game at home vs. the birds in week 5.  rofl

I still can't believe the Skins pulled it out.  They looked completely inept on offense for 3 and a half quarters, then all of a sudden two quick TDs.  That's the sweetest win they've gotten in a while.

GOD DAMN IT!

being a life long Cowboy fan i damn near broke my TV last night

How in the fuck did that happen?

3rd and 27 and they let Brunell fuckin run 25 yards

then on fourth down he throws a TD to Moss

why not blitz on 3rd and 27 instead of that bullshit prevent stuff?

But Ok I can live with Washington and that bullshit getting up 14-13

This is what probably makes me the most mad.

ball on the Washington 40, 2nd and 4 2 minutes to go which is plenty of time

Julius Jones is runnin all over Washington

Pass on 2nd down incomplete
pass on 3rd down incomplete
pass on 4th down incomplete game over

Why not hand it to Julius on 3rd and 4?
how about a playaction pass on 2nd and 4?

But Damn it we just needed a FG!!!!!

Oh well we got SF next week so we have a great shot at being 2-1 but we had an easy road to go 3-0

just doesnt make sense.

Philly looks impressive, if Trotter hadnt been ejected they wouldve beat Atlanta

I dont know why Philly didnt try to get a power Running back though, Westbrook is a good all purpose back but not really a guy who can carry 25 times a game and eat up the clock.

Vinny is back?!?

Jets re-sign Testaverde after injuries to Pennington, Fiedler
HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. (AP) ? The desperate New York Jets brought back 41-year-old Vinny Testaverde on Tuesday after starting quarterback Chad Pennington and his backup, Jay Fiedler, were lost for the season with shoulder injuries. In turning to Testaverde, who played for the Jets from 1998-2003, the team hopes he can back up untested third-stringer Brooks Bollinger, who is scheduled to start Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens.

Vinny Testaverde's best season came in 1998 when he led the Jets to an AFC East crown and the AFC Championship Game.

Hey, we beat who's on the scheduele.  Seatle's not too bad.  They've got a good offense, and our D shut them down pretty good.  You have to at least concede our D is very good.  And the offense is coming along.  Brunell threw for more than 200 yards and 2 TDs.  And the one INT wasn't his fault cause it bounced the receiver's hands and he should've caught it.  The running game is good with Portis.  Its all coming together.

i don't totally disagree with you.
