Anyone know? I mean VR are coming.. and i think Axl said on stage a few times "see you next year" at shows last year. I cant remember for sure but i'm pretty sure he said it at the shows i was at. Anyone else remember?

I hope they do tour again. Especially if "that" album actually gets released in 2007.   smoking

Maybe someone here can let us know?

Well, they've booked for Asia, Africa and Australia already. Then they'll probably go to South America in July/August. If they continue touring, which they will do should the album be coming out this year, they will have to return to somewhere they played last year, either Europe or North America. I'm guessing North America, but who knows?

When they played at the SECC in Glasgow Axl said "we're gonna see you all again real soon", take from that what you will. I hope they come back this year, if not UK then Europe somewhere. If not then going to see VR again is hardly a hardship.

Is there demand in the UK for another albumless tour with the same setlist from last summer?

They could squeeze in a UK tour, sure. But it'd be in winter, I assume. Like the dude above me said, though: The CD would have to be out to hit the UK again, I think.

Already seen them 3 times so I wouldn't go and see them again without "Chinese Democracy" unless Bucket and Brain were back in the band. I can't in good conscience continue to support the delay of "Chinese Democracy" any longer by spending my money seeing this band.

I would sure as hell go and see them if they came back to Scotland.  I missed the Glasgow show due to lack of funds last summer, so I've no reason to complain about the setlist etc.

But you should bear in mind that bands always say they'll come back soon - same as they tend to say things like "You rock harder than [insert previous gig town]" or "This is they best night of the tour" and similar bs.  It's showmanship, not a real statement of intent.

I wouldn't think there would be another round of UK or USA this year without an album.

In saying that, I said that in 2006 too  Cheesy

If they tour Europe b4 US then probably end of this year. If not start of next year. Also would imagine they may be top of a few festival bills in 2008. Depending upon success of Chinese Democracy.

They're touring the world in bits promoting an album they haven't put out. No doubt, any future tour dates will include places they've never been before. When the album comes out, they'll probably tour places they have played before. To tour endlessly the same cities without a record to promote would result in diminishing returns.
