1 - Just the one, Birmingham NEC 25/07/06 (My Download Festival ticket got lost in the post  crying)
2 - Its brilliant, keep it
3 - I really can't think of another GNR song that would translate as well and is the right length for an instrumental in the set, Don't Cry is emotive and anthemic and that's what I think your instrumental should be about

2. Don't ditch it completely, play it sometimes
3. Civil War, Don't Damn Me, Locomotive, Crash Diet Smiley and Little Wing

So bittersweet this tragedy...

1. None... Sad But True
2. Keep Don't Cry but play every once in a while a different solo like:
3. Civil War or Locomotive; The very best song you could do is Estranged... I would kill for hearing that...  drool

1. Download Festival, UK - FUCKING AWESOME

2. It's cool.. but perhaps time for a change?

3. I say "Sweet Home Alabama"... but if we're going for GNR songs, then "Civil War".

Keep up the ROCK!

I went to the Birmingham NEC show in 2006 (we got a bit frisky back at the hotel and I now have a baby daughter due on the 11th of May!!:))

Anyway I loved the Dont Cry solo but I would love to hear you do Civil War.

1) 6 shows: Madrid, Lisbon, Greece, the 2 Wembley shows and the acoustic gig in London.

2) Keep it, it's simply great singing along to an instrumental version of Don't Cry (even when most people around have a really bad voice...  hihi)

3) Dead Horse, Civil War would be great songs to sing along to and I believe most GNR fans know them by heart...

Off topic, I'm pretty sure you'd make MY WORLD rock as well, plus it would be lots of fun for you to improvise... That would make lots of people wonder why they hate the song so much...  Wink

1. 2 - Glasgow 21/07/06, Dublin 09/06/2006

2. Would prefer it to be a band song, as in also get vocals in it. Such an amazing song.
Solo was really good though, but feel song is more than about guitar.

3. Solo wise, Civil War (well duet with Dizzy would be class), or on your own Estranged.

1 - Haven't been to any shows yet, but plan to got a few of the Australian shows, as many as I can afford.
2 - I think you should keep Don't Cry in your solo, at least for the Australian audiences that haven't had a chance to see this new band yet.
3 - Seeing as it has actually been 14 years since Australia's last GN'R tour, how about playing a bit of 14 Years in your solo too?

That would kick ass! ok beer

1) I'm assuming he means just this past tour.  From me, that would be the May 12th Hammerstein Show.
2) Keep it.
3) Yesterday, Civil War, part of Estranged

Hey BF, I was at Dublin & Manchester.. great shows!
Dont Cry is a great solo man, nice to see the old classic getting played to some capacity, I think it adds a lot to the show.
Hotel California would be a nice solo if were talking none GnR.. also think you can talk Axl into to singing Black Betty? I think his voice would complement the song and it would be a bit of a rock out.

Keep doing your thing Dude!

Peace

1. Only 1 show sadly. (Nijmegen, Holland)
2. Play it once in a while, exchange it with other songs.
3. Play some of your own songs, of a medley of multiple Bumblefoot-songs or something like that.

1- 13 shows! 4 Hammerstein, 2 Las Vegas, Inland Invasion, MSG, Cleveland, Oakland, 3 Universal CA

2- Keep it but I think it would be cool to medly it with other "Illusion" classics! (Estranged, Coma, etc.)

3- Have you ever heard "Green Hornet Theme" by Al Hirt? It was on the Kill Bill vol. 1 soundtrack. For some reason I think you would totally ROCK that track. Check it out!

Are we going to ever see the "swiss cheese" guitar??? I had to ask you, I always do.....
