There Was a Time

Hi, just wondered this recently, since BBF's interview with Maximum Threshold indicated that he wouldnt play on all the tracks himself, does this mean that Paul Huge, Buckethead and/or Brian May may be featured on these tracks? Wasn't Axl even learning guitar himself for a while, whose to say he hasnt recorded some material and put it on this album, and that live the band is just more members then it is in the studio?

What do people think, is it likely that Brian May may appear on Chinese Democracy (for Catcher in the Rye), or is it the case that BBF and Fortus will take turns to share duties with Finck on every track?

Axl said on Trunk he's not sure if Brian May will be on the album. That's all we know.

Richard will be on every track, he's Izzy's replacement and main rhythm guitarist. Going by the way the songs are played live, I'm guessing Finck will be on all of them too. Then it will be either Buckethead, Bumblefoot, Paul Huge, and maybe Axl, etc. Buckethead is bound to be on the album I think.
They're may also be some songs where more than two guitars would be innappropiate, so it'll be just Finck and Fortus.

If "Catcher In The Rye" makes the cut, Brian May will be on it. I don't think that they would use a different version where he isn't featured on. But I really doubt that the track will be on the album. Maybe as a bonus track on the first single or whatever.

or is it the case that BBF and Fortus will take turns to share duties with Finck on every track?

I don't think that they will share duties. I think they will be doing the tracks together.
For example "Iron Maiden" were doing it too with three guitar players without any problem.
