2006 Inland Invasion, Jungle?
«

I have noticed that Axl was just so intense! and right on with Jungle at that concert. I like all of his performances of Jungle on all the shows and I'm glad he opened with it, but my question is why did he seem to sing it with so much more enthusiasm, and passion at Inland, more so than the others? The way he sung that reminded me exactly the same snarling attitute he did at the Ritz in 1988.
Has anybody else noticed this? I hope he comes like that at every show this upcomming tour, he still rocked and was awsome but he just had that something extra he brought that night.

Cause it was in L.A. well sorta First time in a loooooong time he'd played there.
I assume most bands that plays in L.A. give it a little extra in that smog ridden land.

Was it being recorded for broadcast or something. Often times artists put more into it if they know it is being recorded for broadcast.

Agree, it was intense! It may have been a broadcast, not sure but it just seemed like he reached down in his gut and pulled out all that young frustration from the 80's and let it go, kinda refreshing to see him still do that from time to time.

Indeed it is... The RAR version is more than intense... Best version in 2006 & 2002 by far...

LA 20th december > all 2006 performances.
December 19th> all 2006 performances
And holy crap. The Inland Invasion Jungle was my very first time hearing it live, but it was intense. We had a little mini-riot, and everyone was worked up, all 65,000 of us. And then we just went nuts when the song started. That HAD to have gotten Axl pumped, especially since it was a hometown gig.
Good times.
P.S. "I see fire!"

I loved inland invasion version, just didn't like his 'first' scream that much.
