Next year, compose a blistering diatribe calling us all ungrateful fucks, detailing all the transgressions made by posters in the past (like being called a Nazi), tell everyone you've given up on GnR and we're all pathetic losers for continuing to be fans, etc, etc....post it as the homepage and shut the site down for the day.

I agree...though I'd switch "Contraband" to "Latest Nickelback album" or possibly "Latest Jessica Simpson" album...something jarringly and obviously not GnR (and bad)...otherwise too many people won't get the joke.  Subtlety (along with the aforementioned sense of humor) seems to be lost sometimes.
