there was an old thread where a guy from mygnr claimed to here studio versions of the blues maddy, and cd.. the thread went on and on.. but i didn't believe him.. but.. http://www.heretodaygonetohell.com/board/index.php?topic=36220.0look what he wrote about madagascar. How do I know that this was Studio and not live? Because at the end of the song where we've heard Finck sing back up vocals, it was Axl himself singing them in his higher pitched voice and, of course, he sang the main lyrics in his low voice." sounds pretty spot on.. guess this guy was telling the truth after all.. maybe what ever that guy heard was the source of the latests drama. he also said that Chinese Democracy and the blues were on the same cd.. interesting |

if he really heard it, he would have mentioned the characteristic "differences"...
not the bullshit about voice. There's obviously more noticeable differences about the song than the "high/low" pitch.

thats exactly how it sounds.. i wouldn't have bother stiring this up.. but i was pretty surprised when i listend to the end of it.. and it was exactly how this guy described it..

What do you mean? The most obvious difference is Axl singing the backing vocals in the outro instead of Finck - that's what he originally claimed back in September and he was right. |

Well obviously he can't sing them both at the same time, but presumably most would have predicted Finck to be doing backing vocals in the studio as well or at the very least Axl in a low key. In addition Finck sings them very low key whereas Axl sings them very high-key (he could have sang them low key) so that is another obvious difference. I know Finck can't sing that high, but that doesn't Axl mean Axl would have sang them in a high key. You'd have to be very lucky to get that right by poor chance. |

is that dude talking about the leak from the other day? because to be honest i pray that that aint the final versioin. he was talking about a bunch of songs that he heard back in sept.. that he thought were studio versions. at the time it sounded like complete bs.. but after i reread his description of the maddy he heard.. i believe that he really did hear studio version.. weather or not they were demos or final mixes.. i have no idea.. my guess is that the demos that are circulating are the same that he heard.. if that is true then maybe leaks of the blues and cd will be next. i'm just making a guess. based on the info that we all have.. |
