I like how Brian played live during 2002 tour, but Frank was great at the 2006 concert. I think they are both capable of laying down some good beats and rythym, but I feel Brian may be better for songs such as Oh MY God, and Frank for Blues and Catcher. I hope Frank just stays since he has been around for a while but Brian is really good.

Frank, as it seems like he actually wants to be in the band.

Brain by a long shot. It's like comparing Ron to Bucket. Ron is a nice guy, but he can't touch Bucket when it comes to guitar playing. I believe that Brain will come back for the actual "Chinese Democracy" tour. Brain probably just got sick of touring "Appetite" and told Axl to give him a call when he's ready to put out "Chinese Democracy". Honestly, I don't blame Brain at all... I would do the same thing if I was in his position, with a new born baby.

He's rehearsing with the band to play an albumless tour of Japan. I think Brain will be back for the real tour (With New Album) whenever that might be. Brain helped to write songs on "Chinese Democracy" and I'm sure he's itching to play them live.

Yeah, Brains definitely got my vote.  One of my favorite drummers ever.  More technically skilled than Frank.  Saw Brain in concert with various bands a few times and he never dissapointed.  I think a lot of people will appreciate Brain's contributions once CD is released and he will be considered GNR's best drummer.

Why not have two drummers? They can have multiple guitarists why not multiple drummers?

Here's what it always comes down to. If you want GnR to sound at its best, live and on album, you have to go with Brain and Bucket. If you want nice friendly chaps who will answer your e-mails and who are competant, and in Rons case, very skilled, you go with Frank and Ron. People like to say that the band has better chemistry now than it did in 2002, but what they really mean is that Axl sounds and looks way better than he did in 2002. The best sounding version of New GnR would be the 2002 band with the 2006 Axl. At this point I don't really care who is up there playing with Axl as long as when the album comes out it has Bucket and Brain's parts on it.

Well, my favourite drummer is Abe Laboriel Jr... and the closest thing to him is Frank, so I pick him  hihi

I slightly prefer Brain's drumming, but Frank is also very talented and he shows the fans his happiness for being a Guns N' Roses member.

Brain never realised the greatness and the meaning of being a GNR member in my opinion.

I like Frank and from what I've seen he is excellent and it's great to have him in the band.

However Brain's drumming on some of the old songs and the touches he added to them were brilliant. Brain is definately #1.

What does that mean? That it's an honor to do tours named after an album that you've put your lifes blood into(Chinese Democracy), but really you're mostly playing tracks off an album that you had nothing to do with that came out 20 years ago!! Sometimes I wish the other members of the band would just go on strike and refuse to tour until "Chinese Democracy" is actually out. No offence to Frank, but Brain actually helped write songs for "Chinese Democracy". The "General" which Dizzy once said was one of his favorites is supposed to be a Brain track. Same goes for Bucket. Axl would take Bucket back in a heartbeat if the Big B wanted back in. Just blows my mind how people prefer having guys who didn't help write "Chinese Democracy", and who aren't as good a players as the members they replaced.

I agree when ppl say that frank looks like hes havin more fun. It doesnt really bother me who does the drumming because the majority of what we're hearing is the old bands songs..i'll make a judgement when i hear more chinese democracy stuff

as for bucket vs bumble id have to say bucket (i prefer his tone and his stage presence is brilliant, even tho he hardly moves!)

I like Frank, but I hope Brain comes back.  Nothing against Frank at all, but Brain was there in 2001 and 2002, so in my opinion he deserves to be there when/IF CD comes out.

Frank looks like hes having more fun up there, he nailed the intro to You could be mine better than all the past drummers.... Brain was fantastic in the past but doesnt seem to care any more. I read in a Drummer magazine years ago, what was it like being in Guns N Roses? And Brain replied something like 'Its a job' or 'Its a paycheque'  I just thought straight away - Fuck him off!!!!
