I didn't make an inquiry in the matter you just announced on this message board.

/jarmo

I just feel that if someone is passing themselves off as GNR or remixing their work then its fair enough to inquire whether its legit or not. Thats all.

If you are talking about the CD clip.................THERE IS NO FUCKING WAY THAT IS SOMEBODY REMIXING THEIR WORK.

I'm no expert on the issue, but those clips sounded really proffessional. The production values (if that means what I think it does) were amazing.

There's no mention of any clips in the story.

May I ask with whom are you in contact with jarmo?

Thanks

How can you be so sure?

The clip sounds great, but I have my doubts.

First of all, it reminded me of a BloodyRoses remaster of Chinese Democracy I had before (a 2001 or 2002 performance). Everything was really clear in that one as well. Second, when you listen to the december 20th performance of CD, the whole intro is clean as well (check newgnr.com).

In other words, the whole 'leak' doesn't mean much.. we might have had it all along.

Also, Axl's voice sounded quite different in the boston promo.. and somehow I don't think vocals will be shared on CD. It will be Axl all the way.. just wait and see Smiley

The vocals sound completely different from the same section in the BR remaster, and the overall quality is far superior. Granted, none of that proves it's legit but it is at least a different recording.

There is no need to let anything get you down anymore. Trust me. The shit is ready and its far far faarrrrrrrrrrrrrrr better than expected. After hearing a snippet of CD, I now agree that none of the "Better" versions on the radio are anywhere near final mix.

It would appear that the promotional wheels are gearing up with an AMAZING commercial coming.

A-M-A-Z-I-N-G !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't fucking believe I ever doubted Axl.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhh yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhh,

I agree, it was/is fucking awesome.

the boston promo is more than 4 years old and consists of different parts of the song......... and there is only axl singing in the clip we`ve got.

Fuck why must we always get our hopes up with these rumors ? I was in a record store today and they even said that they wished the album would come out sometime this decade.

Then, explain how the intro (and the 7 seconds from chorus) has stereo effects, since there's no soundboard recording of CD. Also, explain how crispy and clear the guitar riff would sound, without any hiss or backing noises leaking (if you clean that much of a live recording, it would lose quality).

Use a proper audio edition program, take a close listen to the left side of the speaker, remove the vocals. You'll hear Axl's really high singing in falsetto, doing the backing vocals (he sings "lot more time than you.... masturbation").

Also, Axl's voice sounded quite different in the boston promo.. and somehow I don't think vocals will be shared on CD. It will be Axl all the way.. just wait and see Smiley
Well, it's a different part of the song. Madagascar itself has different Axl's voices....

Tommy or dizzy once said they did some backing vocals on cd.

Richard did as well during an interview of his with a guitar magazine back in April 2004, I do believe.
