SLIPKNOT drummer Joey Jordison has confirmed rumors that he will sit behind the kit for KORN this summer. "I'm lucky to have had the opportunity to perform with bands that have influenced me as a musician over the years," Joey said. "When I first heard KORN they blew me away and I have been a fan ever since. I'm looking forward to playing drums with these guys for the next five months!"

The dates are in for this summer's hard rockin' Family Values Tour, which has Korn  and Evanescence  topping the bill.

The 30-city trek is set to launch July 20 in Maryland Heights, MO, and make its way across the US, finishing in early September with four shows in California. The caravan of rock bands will also stop in Toronto July 31.

The festival's fifth installment will also feature Atreyu, Flyleaf, Trivium and Hellyeah, the new band comprising Pantera drummer Vinnie Paul Abbott and members of Mudvayne and Nothingface. Newcomers Nuerosonic and Droid will round out the bill. More surprises, including special activities for this year's village, are still to come, according to a press release.
