I was in L.A. this past week and went to a party at the Roxy on Thurs. (march 22nd).? The party was for Michael H., who was kind enough to put me on his guest list. He told me ahead of time that it was a possibility that he would be playing with some GNR members.

So, I walk in to the place and the first person I see is Frank!? Of course I introduced myself..and? spoke to him for a bit...That was thrilling enough for me!

But then I saw where the VIP entrance was...decided it's now or never... took a chance and walked right in!? I sat on a couch with Frank and Richard!? We hung out for about 1/2 hour!? We spoke about this site, which they knew about... but I told them how we have updaters at the shows, about our pre-party's, and how we have the chatroom on show nights on gnr2k!? They absolutely loved it!?

Then Dizzy walked in, and I had my pic taken with the 3 of them! They couldn't have been any nicer or cooler!

I then went back out to my table and joined my friends and watched them play. Michael H. was singing and Richard, Frank, and Dizzy played with him. They played for about 1/2 hour to 40 minutes...mostly covers, no gnr songs...

Then after the show, saw Tommy and introduced myself to him and had my picture taken with him too.?

I feel like the luckiest girl in the world!!!!! love It was such an awesome night, and I couldn't wait to share with you guys!? peace

Sexkitten, That's awesome!  I know a couple of folks here now who have met members of the band...alas, I am not one of them.  Cry   No prob. though...I wouldn't know what the hell to say anyway!

Did you ask them about the CD?

I don't want ANY SHIT from ANYONE about that question, either. It's TOTALLY normal to ask bandmembers about a upcoming release if you see one..

Typical that the first thing someone says after sharing her happiness is negative.

I didn't ask about the album or the upcoming tour. ?We basically just talked about how much they rock, the site, 2006 shows, gnr fans, chinese democracy songs, my fave song YCBM and how that's one of Frank's fave songs to drum....

I really just partied with them and really told them how there's this big GNR community of people from all over the world that share info and have bonded because of one common interest: our favorite band! They really thought that was amazing!

*don't mean to sound like the GNR goodwill ambassador.  hihi
