The Rolling Stones are planning to make up some lost dates from Europe last summer. Since the shows that GNR were to open were canceled (July 10 in Nurnberg and two days later in Leipzig) will GNR open for the Stones again? #100

Why not? They were to open two shows last summer when they were canceled. It would be a great show.

Why not... I heard today on a danish radio station that Rolling Stones will bring a special guest to their concert in Copenhagen on 5th August. Probably not GNR, but its a guess...

If they have a gap in their schedule they should as it would give them maximum exposure. If CD is coming this year, any bit of advertising is vital, esp if another band is putting up the gig!

But I guess we'll have to wait for more official news on the tour.

There's a nice Slane Castle date on August 18th, and it would be great to see Rolling Stones supported by Guns N Roses, truly it would be the greatest gig of my life...barring bringing Freddie back from the grave and adding him to the bill

I hope so! That would be most excellent. Maybe for one or two shows, like the one's not were cancelled last year.
Anytime a band can open up for the Stones, it's HUGE.

Yes, but if it was to happen last summer...it could happen again.

Don't forget, Mick always gets the singer from the supporting band to come up and do a song with him.
