Huge fan of the Stinson's bass towards the end of Twat, when it's kind of like a loud , echoing, thump. One after another

I have listened too much on Better/CITR lately. They have become boring....*sigh*

TWAT has grown very much on me from the solo to the end of the song, is actually one of the best pieces of music I?ve ever heard.

And it blows away ANY solo I?ve ever heard in my whole life, by the way. Amazing!

take a listen to the intro to "Fortunate Son - Creedence Clearwater Revival" and then listen to the beginning of T.W.A.T.i wonder if theres any influences there.

I love this song. It really grows on you. The solo  is  great. Better is better because of the Appettite-like intensity in the middle, but this  song is very strong and easily the most radio friendly of the "new" songs.

TWAT is a tremendous song, the more I listen to it the more convince I am of this.  Axl's lyrics and vocal melodies are so impressive on this song.  Buckethead's outro is incredible.  I often find myself singing the "Yeah there was a time, didn't wanna know it all, and I don't wann know it now" part without even thinking about it, it just gets stuck in your head

the song will be my favourite gnr track, it already is almost. I love the high pitched violin(?) on the verses, sooooo fucking good. I sing that part all the time and i fucking love the solo.

TWAT is, even being just a demo, one of the best Guns N' Roses track ever, and Buckethead's outro is unbelieveable.

Brilliant lyrics, brilliant vocal performance, brilliant guitars (both Robin and Buckethead, specially BH's outro) have to make a brilliant song.

The other tracks are good, I like them, but I think TWAT is the only masterpiece of the 4. Even better than Madagascar IMHO.

It will be tough to whoever plays the lead guitar in the band to replace Buckethead's parts.

fuck that, slash could never do now what buckethead does on this song. give credit where credit is due.

that being said, TWAT is pure genius. one of my top gnr tracks, even though only heard as a demo yet.
the verses, the chorus, the outtro guitar solo, everything. it's a masterpiece and for those who would have any doubt, this shows only a glimpse of what's to come. axl's musical genius will really shine now that he is free from the 80's rock shacles of slash and duff and can freely create music the way he wants it to be without people holding him back. this song gives me chills, it's that good.

It's not the guitar that makes this song a masterpiece.   Wink
