Absolutely, with the melancholy piano melody and looped drum beat, it could easily be a NIN track.
Sounds great though. Axl has successfully transitioned GN'R of old into todays modern musical styles and it sounds great!

well as big NiN fan I realy love this song. Definately the best new track so far.

TWAT seems to have a lot of Tommy Stinson going on. At least I went "Village Gorilla Head" in my head after a couple of listens. Took a while to sink in, but it's absoulutely a great song, great melancholy mood to it.

IMO, "Better" is the best song we've heard so far....its just unbelievably good!!!

TWAT starts off alright, the intro, verse are cool......that chorus or whatever part ("wrong time for you, wrong time for me, wrong time for everyone") is kinda weird and throws me off, but from midway on, the song is AWESOME.......reminds me of the outro to LOCOMOTIVE...long, emotional, and slamming!!!

i hate to say this, so ill say it once and thats it, i dont want the trhead to be about slash, but....IMAGINE Slash soloing over that outro........my god, it would be amazing!!! robin keeps playing the same notes, in the same octave.....bending the same notes over n over. Slash would be ripping on this.

but anyway, yeah...twat outro is awesome!

i THINK that BH is soloing over the 2nd outro part....that part is kinda cool, i agree......but the first solo in the outro has gotta be robin.

Song gets better in the second half.  The solos are good, but seems to be lacking something.  Like there is no signature to them.  I think the final mix of this song is going to be amazing.

I would prefer Axl to be singing it in more of his "full on" voice rather than his lower tone... but perhaps in a way the natural sound convey's the lyrics more? Awesome trac though. All of these are such massive growers.

I have to agree..this song is solid, and I am relieved by the sound...different from GNR material from the past...but that's what GNR is all about.  I esp like the 2nd half of the song--very beautiful. I can only hope that this means the release is in the near future!!!
