there's if i counted correct 180 rare pics.. many pics of axl, paul tobias, pitman (wearing a mask) and the rest of the band from the 2001 shows and stuff.. (but also pics from the old line up)

normally the photographer does hold the copyright, but if someone (like Axl) says "I'll let you take my picture, but only if I have the copyright" than Axl protects himself from the photographer doing whatever they want with the photo.
you can give over your copyright to a client, like if you were shooting a wedding and the couple wanted to hold the copyright. that way they wouldn't have to keep coming back to the photographer for permission to get reprints, etc.
