I was thinking today at work and everyone read this and see what u think.


I've been reviewing our wrestling games and the one area that seems to still need some fixing is the picking up of debuts.

with this many people our current system really isnt fair cause if a big time superstar debuts, U essentially get a first or second round pick for nothing thus getting a huge advantage.

I remember when Jim talked of not getting online or watching wrestling live therefore being at a huge disadvantage and I agree.


I think next game we should do this:

A wrestler debuts and everyone bids on the wrestler. We use the Official WWE Fantasy game to rank wrestlers and we value each of our  6 trades as a certain amount of money.

For instance each trade is worth 500,000 dollars.

So if a wrestler debuts, everyone bids on what they will give up to get that wrestler.

For instance say Goldberg came back. He would immediately be a main event caliber talent. Kind of unfair for someone to be able to drop Maria for a huge points getter like that.

So I may say, I'll give up RVD and 4 trades for Goldberg. If no one else was able to match my total pts package, Id get Goldberg.

If that was accepted, RVD would go into a Free Agent Pool and people would then Bid on RVD the same way.


I don't know if that even makes sense to most of u just something I thought of when I was bored at work.

I agree we should come up with a better way to treat debutants so all these ideas are great.

In all honesty, the only fair, straight down the middle way is just not allowing them.

Most debutants seem to flop in game terms anyway...

Nobody has EVER won a game because they picked up a debutant.

D's first win was down to Big Show's success, his second down to Melina.

Mine was down to MNM & John Cena.

You cannot drop you No.1 or 2 Draft picks, unless, they are injured, fired, suspended, vanish off tv for 3 weeks or more.

Now since he is wrestling a match he doesn't yet count as "injured"

I think the debuting wrestler should go on offer to whoever is bottom at the time. If they reject then it moves up. Still 1 debut per game mind you.

I think it would give people who are miles behind a chance to catch up.

Otherwise i think the luck of the draw whoever is first to draft gets first choice on the debuting star
