"You're an idiot"

I just read this somewhere else.  It sums up what I feel.

"I now officially believe that the March release date was given only to silence both the media and we the fans when CD was a no show by the end of the year. They never intended on reaching this deadline. Its pretty pathetic that Axl has resorted to outright manipulation to protect Chinese Democracy from reaching the public. I know the whole "This is not a promise, a lie, or a gaurantee" crack Axl threw our way to prevent us from throwing stones when CD, once again, failed to be delivered. But I dont care, this is beyond lame of him.

Wake up folks. Nothing's gonna happen soon. April is a few days away and we still dont have a single, release date, cover art, tracklist, video shoot, news, or promotion of any kind whatsoever.......And the tour starts in two weeks. Yikes.

But oh, recording has been completed...yay."

Well, I got one word for that: bullshit.

Yes, there were delays as Del pointed out.

But for some weird reason, people tend to overlook that.....

a lot of what he did say was true though, it is near april, there is no news of a video, single, cover art, track list, promotion (in magazines or on tv), release date.

thats not be being negative, just factual. i really hope that something starts soon though.

but, if there is no single out just no or in the nest couple of weeks i think we can forget april and may and possible june for the release.

for the record thought i think it will be out in July

the album can never be finished recording until it is out....because thats wen it is no longer possible for axl to make any more changes to it. I predict no news or single before the first show of 2007. The stage setup will be the same there will be no mention of any news during the concert and the set list will look like this.

Setlist: Welcome To The Jungle, It's So Easy, Mr. Brownstone, Live and Let Die, Robin Guitar Solo, Sweet Child O' Mine, Better, Knockin' On Heaven's Door, You Could Be Mine, Piano Moving Jam, Dizzy Piano Solo, The Blues, Richard Guitar Solo, Richard & Robin Guitar Duet (Beautiful), Out Ta Get Me, Moving The Piano Jam, November Rain, Band Introductions, Ron Guitar Solo (Don't Cry), IRS, My Michelle, Patience, Rocket Queen, Nightrain

Encores: Madagascar, Paradise City.

and

the show will rock

and the waiting will continue.

Well OP, its either support Axl Rose, or go back to Metallica...and since the latter havent produced a decent album since a 1993 live release I think Ill stick with GNR

True, and there are other bands in the world apart from Metallica. You dont have to listen to either. Metallica stopped being good in about 1988.
