So....did anyone go to the show.?

Yeah.....like at least 100 people were in the club.... Roll Eyes

Jay,
I think Dizzy sang all of the GN'R songs and Eric sang the remaining with Dizzy backing him....my memory is kinda fuzzy though..
This show had nearly twice as many songs as the last one they did at the Cat club..
Here're some of the songs I remember they did. Honestly, there were a couple of songs I did not even recognize.....

It's so easy
Pretty tied up
Locomotive (love's so strange)
Ziggy stardust
Don't cry
Brown sugar
Rock&Roll all night
Used to love her
Sweet child
Knocking
Sympathy for the devil
an Elton John song which name escapes me now (this was the encore)

and a few others non-gnr

P.S. And Troy is a great drummer.....don't dis him  ok

How about Dizzy's voice?  Can he pull off Don't Cry, etc?

What is so weird about that? He has spent pretty much his entire musical life inside GNR, its not like he has some huge body of solo material to pull from. Besides, pretty much the only people who have any interest in seeing Dizzy only do so because of the GNR connection, so covering the song gives them what they want to hear.

I thought Eric Dover on It's Five O'clock somewhere sounded better than Axl.
If Eric was to replace Scott in VR and Izzy was to write some lyrics, we'd have ourselves an amazing band ok

my friend sent me this email about Dizzys show last Friday night, I was suppossed to drive up from San Diego but never made it, his friend made it and mentions here that Axl was there.

Yeah, it was fun.? ?I met Steve Garvey and his wife...? Nice wify, by the way.? ?I was drunk all day and all night.? I started pounding around 11 a.m. and did not stop until midnite.? I was a bit hang today...? ?Thanks, I'll check out the link below.? By the way, Greg went to the gig last Friday night and said that Axl showed up for a few pints...?

This is not true. Axl was NOT there.
