It just says Evanescence will play there on the 17th and GNR will play there SOON.

Looks like they know just as much as we do.

It's from the same people who were stating GN'R would play in Brazil (Porto Alegre) by April. I wouldn't hold my breath, it wouldn't be logical to have all those dates around the world in just one moth. Maybe in May, after the South-Africans shows...

well this is not really new, since globo already anounced a couple of weeks before that GnR will come to POA....wonder where they might play there? Open Air at the FIERGS area?...or an Open Air at the open air stage near the "Usina"..... The later would be so amazing...Porto Alegre has the most beautiful sunset and yet alone imagine GnR playing there, while the sun sets.....that would be one of the most beautiful locations!!!

Looks like the "coming soon" means "if all goes to plan we hope to get GN'R to play in our city".

Meaning, nothing confirmed yet.


I don't know who the promoter in Brazil is, but as soon as there's a Brazilian show announced, they should know.


That's how it worked over here in Europe last year. The promoters announced the shows, not some newspaper journalist...


Actually, that's how the Japanese shows were made official. They appeared on the promoter's website.

They kept adding dates all the time. 

The shows for the European tour, that started in May 2006, were announced from February until May.

Its not "another" site, it's the same one from Porto Alegre who "confirmed" they would play there in April.

But, like Jarmo said, the promoters are the ones who could confirm. And the news says clearly that the Opini?o promoters confirmed. So, do the math.
