I try and feel the sunshine, you bring the rain
You try and hold me down with your complain

You cry and moan and complain, you whine and tear
Up to my neck in sorrow, the touch you bring

Don?t get back 14 years in just one day
So hard to keep my own head, just go away
You know that I, I've been a beggar, I've been the thief
I?ve been the dealer walking on your street

14 years of silence, it's been 14 years years of pain
It's been 14 years that are gone forever and I?ll never have again

Those maggot papers talking, gossip?s their trade
If they knew half the real truth, what would they say?
They cry and moan the whole day, they try to see
Got all of my life finally, should always seem

You just don't step inside to, to 14 years
Since I?ve been missing they just don?t really care
And I've said I?ve been the beggar, I?ve played the thief,
I was the dog they tried to beat

14 years of silence, it's been 14 years years of pain
It's been 14 years that are gone forever and I?ll never have again

I try and feel the sunshine, you bring the rain
You try and hold me down with your complain

You cry and moan and complain, you whine and tear
Up to my neck in pressures that haven't sin

Don?t get back 14 years in just one day
So hard to keep my own head, just go away
Just like a hooker she said nothing's for free
Oh, I tried to see it your way

I tried to see it your way

The Q sounds mix has only the left channel as a false stereo (asides from the huge reverb in the drums), at least on mp3. Is that right or did I miss something?

''Mixes And Q Sound''
Re-upload in rapidshare
MP3 128 kbps (101 megabytes)

DISC 1/2: http://rapidshare.com/files/22456121/mixesandqsoundcd1.rar
DISC 2/2: http://rapidshare.com/files/22461683/mixesandqsoundcd2.rar

Feel free to post these links wherever you want.

QSound is the original name for a positional three-dimensional (3D) sound processing algorithm from QSound Labs that creates 3D audio effects from multiple monophonic sources and sums the outputs to two channels for presentation over regular stereo speakers. QSound was eventually re-dubbed "Q1" after the introduction of "Q2," a positional 3D algorithm for headphones. As the company's spatial audio algorithm family grew, and multi-speaker surround system support was added to the positional 3D process, the QSound positional 3D audio process became known simply as "Q3D."

The system was used in several Capcom CPS-1 titles and in most, if not all CPS-2 and CPS3 titles as well as several console games and some non-CPS system Capcom arcade games such as Battle Arena Toshinden 2.

A few of the 60+ albums known to have been mixed in QSound

    * The Adventures of MC Skat Kat and the Stray Mob by MC Skat Kat (1991)
    * Amused to Death by Roger Waters (1992)
    * Broken China by Richard Wright (1996)
    * The Immaculate Collection by Madonna (1990)
    * Pulse by Pink Floyd (1995)
    * The Soul Cages by Sting (1991)
    * Spellbound by Paula Abdul (1991)

Why "re-upload" them in worse quality when they're already uploaded on rapidshare on 160kbps?  Huh

Disc One On Rapidshare - MP3 - (one RAR file)
http://rapidshare.com/files/22431450/disc_one.rar

Disc Two On Rapidshare - MP3 - (one RAR file)
http://rapidshare.com/files/22436099/disc_two.rar

They could also be found on the first post of this thread...

And for anyone wondering, these links can be shared freely...

And in almost 30 minutes all Flacs from "Ruffs with New Slash Guitars" will be on Rapidshare.

just a thought for when you burn these to CD...

it would probably make more sense to put the regular mixes on one disc and the Q Sound on another.  that way you don't have to listen to every song twice in a row.

That would be a good idea since the differences aren't that big...

Damn man, I didn't know what the bitrate of those MP3 were! I just downloaded the FLAC files from the torrents, and I thought I could help uploading MP3s for those who dont want FLAC files. I've never downloaded any MP3s from these recordings, because I do not want them. I just encoded MY OWN FLAC files, and I used 128kbps because that is the standard bitrate, and my default option in my audio converter.

There is no need to be rude, I just wanted to help other fans.

And in the end... what's the problem? If anyone wants the 160 version, fine. If anyone uses the 128 links, what's the big deal?

There's no problem, it's just that the difference in size is small but the difference in quality is good enough not to download the 128kbps version.

Ok.

Anyway, I think that anyone who is REALLY interested in QUALITY will not download MP3's (no matters what bitrate) and will download the FLAC's...

This is awesome thanks!

By the way, I have webspace that I pay for from Yahoo. I can upload enormous files and they can be downloaded directly without any middleman (rapishare, megaupload etc). I'd be happy to help out if needed. Also, just from an audio quality standpoint, if these are really coming from cd's or DATS it's doing the audio a HUGE disservice to be ripped into mp3 format in anything less than 256kbps (that means no 128 or 160!). If someone who has the originals wants to shoot me a PM I'd be happy to host the larger files (higher bitrate) but first they need to be re-ripped. LET ME KNOW!

For the Ruff with New Slash GTR 90, I'm making 320kps MP3's right now and uploading them to Megaupload as a zip file. I'm also uploading a .zip file of all the Flacs for it as well.

update: links have been added to the first post in the thread

Many thanks to all involved. Thank you very much for sharing. I feel as if I'm back in Sept of 1991 when I first bought YUI 1 and 2. Ah to be 17 again.

Again thanks,
