I think it would be a good idea and shock the world. I say GNR keeps ''Better'' as one since it has been getting airwave play but also have a brand new song the public has never heard yet at the same time. Do you think this is a good idea? Would it work out well? Agree or disagree?

i agree with the leaks its kind of taken away some of the impact it would've had if we'd never heard it before so a new song coming out around the same time as Better gets to ok to play i think would be pretty cool  an even bigger question what song would it be?  |

it's a pretty pointless idea. it would spread the focus and the fickle masses and stagnant media wouldnt be able to accept such a weird comeback from gn'r.
the idea has almost no benefit really and would just be portayed as meglomania and oddness from "the increasingly deranged Axl Rose"

Even with Better leaked and played on the radio, many people have still not heard it... I'd say the majority of people. |

I would say not. he never said the word Trilogy. 3 albums worth of material... ok... but that doesnt mean it's a trilogy. bands usually make a number of songs, and use only some for the final album. the 32 songs they have so far wont necessarely turn into 3 albums. most probably only 2 albums, and others would be scraped, or used for some other project... rewriten or whatever. like in 2002 they said they had 85 songs... that doesnt mean they would have released 8 albums... |

That isn't a good idea; people would pick favorites and one would be ignored. If you release several a few months apart, the people who only pay attention to the radio start to think, "what's up with GNR?" They pay more attention to "the new one" than "one of the new ones."

Here's a crazy idea: How about they release three albums one week after another. Week 1: Chinese Democracy Week 2: Album #2 Week 3: Album #3  I think we better just see if Chinese will come first, before we think about anything else. |
