Too bad nobody ripped the original versiob feat Better. Well they did rip it (as I still have it) although they found the need to reduce the picture size  Huh

Here's what I dont understand. If the new Gn'R line have recorded some of (all of) the tracks from AFD, then why send Harley the original mix of Paradise City, then they could have sent a mix by the new line up?

Could it be:

A. The new Gn'R line up have not recorded Paradise City (or any tracks from AFD).
B. The new Gn'R line up have recorded Paradise City and Harley rejected it in favour of the old version.
C. Gn'R thought Better would be fully mixed and never expected Paradise City to be used.
D. Axl feels sorry for the old line up and wanted to make them some ca$h.

legaly they are not allowed to.
When black hawk down soundtrack proposal came along,
Axl wanted to put a re-recorded Welcome To the jungle on it, but Slash and Duff legally stopped him from doing so.
after that Axl turned the offer completely down.

that's why I was shocked with the PC commercial.

GTA: San Andreas features Welcome to the Jungle (original version) during an advert.
Maybe Axl attempted to have that re-recorded too?

Wasn't Sweat Child O'mine re-recorded by the new line up for use in a film.

This has more to do with Harley's advertising campaign...than a GNR promotion.

You know what. Maybe the guys got the nod to run the commercial again since the album is in its final stages, they could be going back to the original schedule of how things were going to be released last fall. Does anyone know what type of programing it is airing on or network?

this most likely has nothing to do with GNR.....its spring time when bike sales go up and this is part of a harley promotion to sell more bikes....not gnr

No. Why would they ADvertise in extremely fall then? And down south in the USA and some up north ride all year long.  You have to realize that cross advertisement is different.

If they were promoting the album, they'd be using a new song (Better), not a song that's nearly 20 years old, maybe more.

I think the point is to get you used to the one ad, then out of nowhere, shock you with the other ad.
