Perennial guitarist Gilby Clarke is set to rock Canada! Most recently featured in the hit television show "Rock Star: Supernova" alongside Tommy Lee, Jason Newsted and Dave Navarro, Gilby Clarke is most widely known as an axe-slinger for GUNS N' ROSES during the "Use Your Illusion" tour. After two highly successful concerts with ROCK STAR SUPERNOVA (fronted by Canadian Lukas Rossi) in Toronto and Montreal, Gilby is ready to rock across Canada with his solo band. They will play hits from GUNS N' ROSES, ROCK STAR SUPERNOVA and his solo catalog. Joining Gilby on his first major outing since the conclusion of "Rock Star: Supernova" is fifth-place finalist, Storm Large. Storm's debut single, "Ladylike", featuring Dave Navarro reached No. 5 on the Billboard Independent Singles Chart in October. Storm will perform with pianist James Beaton.

Rock Star: Canada Tour dates:

April 04 - Kingston @ The Ale House
April 05 - Hamilton @ The Underground
April 06 - Cornwall @ [to be continued]
April 07 - Ottawa @ Capital Music Hall
April 09 - Toronto @ Phoenix Concert Theatre
April 10 - North Bay @ Capitol Theatre

It will be interesting to see if he does any press-they will ask him about Rockstar, probably-I read an article where he wasn't too happy with the way some things were advertised as they were putting together a band for Tommy Lee-he wasn't too happy about that-also interesting to see if he has any future plans with the band-the album did not sell, but they had decent-better than I expected-crowds for the shows, but I just don't see that band doing anything else-Gilby also said he had shelved plans for a solo album before Rockstar came up-he's fun in concert, though-go see him

Screw Canada, come back to the US Gilby.  Preferrably, Fargo.  Actyall, I don't care if he is in Canada I just want him to make his way south a bit more.
