Ive listened to this about 20 times and I am reinvigorated with this.

The song honestly isnt that different than the one we've had.

U can just hear some different subtle things goin on on Pittman's end and the guitar's are cleaner.

I absolutely love the harmonizing Axl does on this version.

I don't know just what I should do...

This has proper drums on it aswell.

Has double-tracks well (finck solo, na na na na etc), that aren't very well mixed. And that na na na na thingy is louder, and has another voice.

The Chris Pitman bit is a bit different too.

if management requested it be taken down, who is "management" is it mercks replacement or sanctuary?

is there even a replacement for merck?

That's what I was wondering too.

So bittersweet this tragedy...

IMO the guitar parts have to be louder... And I don't know if the Synth suit the song, a raw version without many effects would be better...

I like the fact that Axl's voice is extremely clear in this one, though I'm still not a fan of the reverb at the beginning. Sad

I think the most important question is where has this new leak come from? did the original demo cd that we got irs twat and old better from have more than one better version on it? this sounds like its from a different source. My guess is that this has leaked from either harley or its one of the songs floating around geffen or wherever because its been accepted as the single or something. anyone else have any better speculations? cough please nobody pm me this file cough cough. damn cold  Wink

This one came from a CD with 11 tracks.

I think Axl sounds the same on both versions of Better.
Some say he sounds "Crisper" and shit like that- but the big deal here has to be Chris Pitman's effects.

As in the big deal being they have to go away, right?

I dont like the new mix.
The drums are good, vocals terrible and the guitars are too low.
Pitmans part must be more in the background or taken away.
Now i got too much popvibes.

lol yes for example at one bit it sounds like someone is filling up a bottle ?hihi I just thought this was 'industrial' apart from the lyrics at the end of this song, its and ok song. but every song on this album has to be perfect and this is miles away. However i reserve judgement for the finished product but lets be honest betters going to be on the album and its not going to be one ?of the greatest songs of all time... I havent had a new pm for months! im soo lonely

I can't see this being leaked though Harley.  I don't think this version sounds anything like the version played in the Harley commercial.

I think it's mostly because of the reverb at the end, but maybe I just didn't hear it on the commercial?  It's been months, so who knows.

edit:

reverb at the 'beginning'

the big deal here has to be Chris Pitman's effects.

Why? The synth effects on this version are about as ordinary as they come. With all due respect, not his best work (assuming that it is "his work").

You couldn't be more wrong.

Fix your speakers or clean your ears out. ?Pitman is going to steal the show when CD finally comes out.
