Just my opinion, would anyone else describe this as a mix between Queensryche and Korn. I'm not trying to say that in a bad way, just wondering if anyone else agrees??

I am loving this song more and more. It is my favorite of the songs out there right now. I do agree though with the previous post about the solos. I don't feel the heart and soul in them, and that could be a problem.

Great song, defo single material I would have thought. Love the intro/closer and axl's vocals are more recognisable than ever! Hands down my fave new gnr track, including madagascar and omgod, and rivalling anything VR have done with the exception of Slither- I really cannot fucking wait for the album after hearing this song! Rock and Roll y'all

Better reminds me of Crash Diet only better............The main thing about Better is Axl's voice sounds like the old Axl-raspy and hoarse...........Listened to it 20 times already...Thats one badass song.....This is single material...........

Man i cannot wait till CITR and this i love comes out. These past three songs have really showed that Axl has not just been sitting on his ass for the past 10 years this really shows that he was working hard itll be worth it i think.... I want The blues studio version out now that would be a treat

sorry dudes, this song just gets more boring to me each time i listen to it - the non heavy part is so slow and mediocre. I have no understanding of how people are RAVING about this song. I pray this isn't the first single.

Well, I decided to break down and listen to the songs and I gotta tell ya, Better is an amazing song. I have already listened to it about 7 times today and if Axl has more song like this up his sleeve, then we are in for good times ahead.

the guitar jam/breakdown riff after the robot stuff is amazing.
the little palm muting scratching and then back into the riff is great guitaring.

well he has been sitting on his ass for 10 years, even he would admit that......it doesnt take 12 years to write and record 15 or so songs...that can be done in 9 months to a year tops.....TWAT reminds me of Estranged part 2

The first guitar solo in this song is stupid. It's a good solo but in my opinion it doesn't add anything to the song. In fact I think it detracts from it. It just seems pointless. A solo for the sake of a solo. Other than that the entire song pretty much rules.

The only part I'd take out is the guitar parts after the screaming, just those few phrases before the dead end which leads into the robot stuff, I like the robot stuff, but the transition should maybe be done on keyboards or something. Other than that, i'd leave it as is.
