Fuck. F-U-C-K. Fuck all of you who don't like the "middle part." Now I understand this. It took it being Saturday and some Buddha time to...but I do. This song is really fucking awesome. Its hardcore. Its supremely fucking badass. You know Metallicas track "One?" Kind of trippy, but there is this buildup, kind of. But then boom...fucking awesome hardass shit. Man, this is like that.

But newer and trippier. Its very borderline Industrial...very hard metal. Fuck I don't know. This some cool as shit. TWAT is my favorite of these leaks so far. IRS kicks my ass. I can't my finger on this yet but, Better is fucking awesome. And you squares who are cutting this track up...you are all fucking Dee Dee Dee retarded.

I agree. Cool that someone else noticed a metallica type vibe going there.

I just heard the full version alittle bit ago and havent stopped listening to it. That heavy "crunching" guitar that kicks in at 2:21 and than Axl vocals kicking in just floor me.

I just really don't know what to say. This is exactly what I've been hoping for all these years.

This is just speculation, so dont anyone get all bunched up if I'm wrong:

Its hard to tell who's playing what in the solo from about 2:18 - 2:50 because there is nothing totally over the top which would obviously be Buckethead. After Axl sings though, the next solo from 3:10 - 3:25 sounds like Buckethead on lead. Again just a guess.

i believe so it changes by the late 320 mark to another style or player

Same here. I was worried for a little while that Axl would back off and compromise... but the man wasn't kidding when he said that he'd been working on material that would challenge listeners, and I'm grateful - This tune's creativity and energy is exactly the kind of material I'd hoped would come out of this entire project.

This song really stands out from the rest for me.  I fuckin' love it.  I really think the solos will be different on the final cut though, as there's a few notes that are a bit out on one of the bucket head solos, and Robon like always seems to be a split second off of time.  Also the vocals are pretty rough on the prechorus bit.  All that being said, I can't stop playing this song.   It's really got me chomping at the bit now.

Can't stop listen to this wonderful great music.. I really hope the album comes out this year. There's no meaning in playing a couple of live shows and then just SILENCE.

Better is one of the greatest song ever

I hope that thay will make it this year

i think the middle/metal-part sounds kind of like a TOOL-METALLICA-LIMPBIZKIT-MIXTURE with a touch of AUDIOSLAVE...

Sorry if this has been brought up before, but I can't seem to find it on these 60+ pages.

Y'all think this is the finished song or a demo? It sounds like it could go out to the radio as is. I think this song fucking rules.

Before I heard the "Better" clip it was all about "The Blues" and how I couldn't wait to hear an album version of the song. Now, it's all about "Better" and how I can't wait to hear an album version. Who knows, maybe by the time the album does come out, I'll be anticipating hearing an album version of another song. hihi

no
Robin's solo is just fine, there's no problem with the tempo. IMO, it's his best solo along with The Blues one. You know you don't have to put all the notes like a metronome, right? You can fill some spaces in between.

Also, Bucket's solo is meant to be like that. It's dissonant (sp?), but it works just right.

I really wonder how could someone think they would put fuckups in a high quality demo like this...
