So who leaked this one???

Rosco.... but I hear from an inside source that Boss Hog brought it into town on a truck with some Slot machines........

I think Uncle Jessie snuck it in with the moonshine. ?Rosco was just helping out to try to get into Daisy's pants.

Totally agree...take the heavy part and turn that into a 4:30 song and you have a number one single that people will be digging for 20 years +

IRS is a much more well put together song if you ask me, still my fave of the 3, then TWAT and then better.

2 things I picked up - reminds me of dead horse - starts and ends with the same bit. ?I love how it jump hard into the song then just stops. ?I here a big SFD influence in the middle of this song.

It appears to me that Axl isnt worried about radio friendly pop songs...by the sound of this song hes willing to take a sure chart hit and turn it into a musical monster...even if it means its not a layup....liek it could have been...

Axl has balls

People who say "I don't like that bit" - that's the point Axl was making. You're not gonna like all of it - you can already see that parts you don't like are loved by others and vice versa.

This is the beauty of this - different sounds, different techniques, it's all a .... what did Axl call it?.... a melting pot?

There has been no consensus on any part of the song - nobody agrees - it's brilliant

This is what I like about it the most.

When he said that, I think most people would have thought he meant the whole album from song to song.... not that a song was going to change second to second...

The song is unbelievable. I love every part in it, the transitions are totally different and unexpected. Its nice and mellow, then its upbeat, then its wicked heavy. Its so awesome. Axls voice is insane, its awesome. I just cant think of words to describe how cool this fuckin song is.

« Reply #837 on: February 23, 2006, 01:43:15 PM »

Damn, I had the 1:20 clip and then the 2:03 clip and just listened to this "full" version.

I must say that this song is fresh as hell... and why in the hell is Axl Rose holding these songs back? We mostly like them all, they are fresh, and it will sell 200000- 400000 it's first week... they will still profit from this album...

I like it... it's fresh. Rock out, rock on! ?peace

I dont understand what people are complaining about. Doesnt NR change drastically at the end?!?
Axl has always pushed the envelop as much as he could've with his musical vision.
So now you are getting something different again . What's the problem?
Not every song has to sound like classic GNR. That said, the elements are still there!

When he said that, I think most people would have thought he meant the whole album from song to song.... not that a song was going to change second to second...
