how is robin going to do the Bucket part of the song?

Robin's solo is really awesome I have to say.

my only complaint with the song is Axls middle vocals other than that this song is great...

a classic rnr fan will prob not like this though

i like buckets solo, the 2nd half of the song is pretty cool, remember, just a demo, so when this is done, who knows how cohesive it'll wind up sounding....cool parts though, the final product should be insane.

please take robin's solo OFF.....he has NO MELODIC feel to his solo. BH might sound like a computer, but atleast its INTERESTING.....robin needs to play chords, and look cool on stage. his solos SUCK.

but i like the song, i think its the best of the new crop we've heard. if they want to make it the first single, it might need to be shortened for a release version.

completely disagree. To me robin captures the soul that slash has and is in tune with the emotion axl is trying to convey. buckethead on the other hand is just cramming a bunch of poorly selected notes.... his whole solo section licks ass and should be removed

So many fantastic parts... buckethead.... robin's solo.... the bit before the end with the high backing voclas wailing in the background - oh man this is sweet.

Listen on headphones - brilliant.

@#$%Funker

Edit: Notice how half of you like Bucket's stuff and half like Robin's? That's the best thing for me, something for everyone..... and everything for me, hehe.

Variety is the spice of life.

Please, erase all the Buckethead's parts, he sounds horrible. The middle of the song sounds like an heavy shredd death metal part. When Finck's take the lead (outro of the song), it sounds much better.

Lol, in the middle of all these people absolutely adoring what they ?ve heard Buckethead do so far on those new songs, suddenly Nesquick pops up looking like a blind man in a 3d-cinema. What ever happened about you caring so little for Buckethead, you didn?t want to waste another minute of your life discussing him? Sorry my bad, I just forgot that, that one is just your punch line to flee from discussions you can?t win.

Wow!!!!!  from 2:20 to 3:20 is UNNNNNNNREAL.....

song sounds a bit disjointed on the first listen though...its kind of all over the place, like not sure what it wants to be.

I still think its too "new" of a sound for the first single - will be a real shock to the average GNR fan who is expecting another WTTJ or SCOM.

I just listened to it and I just love it! I'm glad we got it in three 'leaks', gave us time to get used to all the different elements in the song  Smiley I can't wait to hear this one on CD, the final cut. I think it will ROCK big time!

Well, that's why it's called a 'demo.'

im ok with BH i guess, but if he's not in the band, then what the hell is going to be on CD?

Robin = boring

robin can only do a few things, his style, though closer to slash, is boring, he's not melodic, AT ALL. he just plays shapes from scales....over n over.......

I agree that Axl's Sebastian Bach calibre vocals in the bridge should be stripped.

The only thing Robin is able to capture from Slash is his sloppiness. A bunch of poorly selected notes? Well, I read some of your posts on the forum, such an uneducated guess is typical for your ignorance.
