Dreaming and waiting

« Reply #702 on: February 23, 2006, 08:10:50 AM »

yah I did that before asking but didnt find anything so I went ahead and tried working them out and I find them to be very deep and i like that.

this is what I have, correct me where im wrong...

"Better"  by Guns N Roses

No one ever told me when I was alone
they just thought I'd know better, better.

No one ever told me when I was alone
they just thought I'd know better, better.

The hardest part this troubled heart has never
yet been through now.
We've healed the scars that got their start
inside someone like you now.

Well had I known or I'd been shown back
when I longed you'd take me.
To break the charge that brought me home
and all that won't erase me.

I never would know that I could
no matter what you'd pay me.
Replay the part, you stole my heart
I should have known you're crazy.

If all I knew was that with you
I'd want someone to save me.
It'd be enough, but just my luck,
I fell in love and baby all that I wanted was

Now I know you better,
You know I'd know better
You Knew, You knew better!

So bittersweet this tragedy, won?t ask for absolution
This melody inside of me still searches for a solution
A twist of fate, a change of heart, can?t find infatuation
A broken heart to hide (the spot???) for my determination

No one ever told me when I was alone
they just thought I'd know better, better.

No one ever told me when I was alone
they just thought I knew better, better

If you want to read the Better lyrics thread, go back a few pages in this section of the forum. There's been so many threads this past week, its probably gotten buried on the 3rd or 4th page. Hell, maybe even further back. Check it out. I know there was one when the song first leaked. ok

Remember, NO links and NO requests. I've had to delete 3 of them in the last 5 minutes. If you do that, you're going to get your ass in trouble. Get it?

No the full version is not fake and it does sound different than I thought...somehow even better than I thought as I just didn't imagine it going this way- great! (No not talking about the looped version, the full version 4 minutes 56 seconds long.)

Very interesting how it moves along later... a little underdeveloped but in no way predicatable! It's a shame this rip isn't as good as the previous 2 samples... the mp3 is more compressed.

It's certainly very different than the first 2:20, that's for sure.

When I first heard it I think my reaction was OMFG to be exact.

I LOVE the solo at 2:30...kicks ass.

I actually think I like the song MORE now than I did....

Edit: And don't PM me for it...can't email it from my current location.
