Better is a single type kind of song that is catchy, but im not really sure how much i like it. Axl's voice is more suited to hard rock. Thats just my opinion though.

Out of the tracks I've heard (IRS, Mad, TWAT, Blues, Chinese, and Riad) Better is THE kick ass song and all I've heard/have is the short demo!
I can't wait for the studio version of this song.?

man, this clip is sooooo awesome. axl is fuckin back. i dont care about any of the controversy surrounding axl, the gnr name, or anything of that nature. all i can say is this song fuckin rocks, and im going to buy the CD for this song. cant wait to hear all of the others!

I honestly think its one of the best fucking songs I've heard in years.  I love the more modern sound and Axl's voice has never sounded better.  I can't wait to hear a Bucket solo in this song.  GNR IS FUCKING BACK!!!!  Axl is still the fucking man.

Better rules. At first I ahted the intro but now that I know the lyrics in the intro and can sing along I actually love it and when Axl's voice and that catchy as hell guitar riff kicks in it's like Guns N' Roses(Axl) is wakeing you up with a big slap in the face, but in a good pump you up way. His voice is deadly in this song and the melody is top notch. I love it even if I've only heard 80 seconds of it. I play it in my car over and over again.

You're wrong. Immediately after the leak, I made the comparison, and I have also said at this forum since I heard Vertigo that Axl needed a similar type hit. Bring on the lawsuit.

I just went and sat in my car, smoked and listened to the 3 leaked songs each 2 times.  Better is still the better song.  If this song is the first single, I really think it will get peoples attention.  The song kicks fucking ass.  They don't make music like this anymore folks.  I already said it, but this is one of the best songs I have heard in years.  Axl sounds fantastic.  I can't wait to hear the full version.  There is no way they can fuck this song up.  GNR BITCH!!

Hey guys I've been lurking on these boards but haven't posted.  I was fortunate enough to come across these tracks (like the rest of you). Let me just say how surprised I am.  The sound, for the most part, seems like a natural evolution of the GNR sound.

I hated Better on my first listen, but the second listen was entirely different...which ironically, is how much of the Use Your Illusion discs were for me.  These songs, much like those discs, just weren't what I was expecting, but still turned out to be incredible musical pieces.

TWAT is making a strong and determined push to overtake Better as my favourite of these new tracks, but I agree Better would make a great single, it's just so damn catchy.
