This song is just fine.
Don?t like it as much as all the other new tunes (except for Silkworms).
I think even "Rhiad" is better than "Better".

I received a full version of Better from someone in a PM.  I'm not sure if it is actually the full version or not, because it sounds like it's been badly edited, but it still sounds real.  If anyone wants it i'll PM to you

how do you know its a fake? where did that info come from?

EDIT:
Aahhh yep i heard it. around 3:22 you can here when robin's solo repeats for the second time you can hear a small snippit of the end of Axl saying "Better" before it loops again. good job though for whoever spliced it

Also, it's not like Axl to copy verses word for word and the verses @ 0:37 and 2:12 are identical, including vocal patterns

I can't believe that. If they want promotion, why not just release a single?
Clearly they have several finished tracks, why release a song a demo-quality song that isn't considered to be a top song by management?

Now I don't think this is all a conspiracy but here's a thought along this vein.

Maybe the Record Label doesn't think the songs are ready, and GnR says well we'll put it out there then and see what the public says

I really love better a lot. I listened to the 2:06 minute version and I love it now more than we get to hear more of the song. I like TWAT a lot too. That could be a really big song. I get the feeling he's talking about the past in There was A Time.

And, IRS is pretty good too but it's not really my preference.
