I ABSOLUTELY FREAKIN LOVE THIS SONG!!! Especially the intro, Axl please don't mess with that intro it is perfect and so is the TWAT intro. The part just before the first clip cuts out where he kicks it into high gear is also awesome. I hope these aren't raw demos because they're perfect and I don't want them being screwed with. Perhaps Axl could be louder in parts of TWAT.

Buckethead, Robin, Finck, Fortus, Huge, Zakk, Axl...

This band has/has had tons of guitarists in its line-up, and I?m yet to be impressed with the guitar parts of ANY of the new songs...
But, of course, Axl isn?t dumb enough not to care about something as important as the guitar in the album, probably the final takes are going to have some memorable guitar solos, licks and riffs . I just thinlk it?s too bad we haven?t heard any of them yet.

I think "better" is hasn't been completely disclosed to us yet for a reson - I believe we have a 5:30 song that we've heard roughly 1.5 minutes of, exluding the intro.  We've got a kickass solo and a REAL chorus line coming..or at least one hell of a bridge.  The whole song is an unrecognized potential..simply because, in reality, we haven't heard enough of it yet to make final judgement.

You're gonna get flamed for saying that, but I respect the honest opinion. This album has been hyped so much, the expectations are insane. Nothing new we've heard so far is 'earth shattering', and it does create a cause for concern. I like the new demos(except IRS), but Axl is not breaking any new ground. Better is a catchy pop song, plain and simple. TWAT sounds like it could have been on an early 90's Queensryche album. IRS is just all over the place, and the vibe of it is ruined by weak lyrics. One poster here said he thinks these are the 'Big Guns'. If so, then this album and the legacy of GNR are in trouble.

hey guys, you probably said something about this before, but when I went into iTunes and looked at the info for Better and IRS they both said in the comment box "made by saint seiya"...the one in better said "made by saint seiya - we nee"...i bet it doesn't mean much and nobody knows who that could be, but i just noticed it

Personally, I love Better, I love Twat... I don't understand how people can be concerned about the state of Chinese Democracy yet, for shit's sake, we have only 3 demos.....
Expectations. I mean, this album has so much hype riding on it, and a lot of people already have fixed ideas of what they want to see on Chinese Democracy. I find it astounding people nitpicking fucking demos.... If you changed this chorus such and such I would like it better... I want to see Axl's vision, I don't give half a shit about some poster that feels entitled to give Axl musical advice. I think people should have some kind of open mind about these things, especially since in the versions we have of them are not final. I'm tired of the bitching.
We have some music, and it's fucking awesome, and still not happy?? ?Whatever man. Enjoy it if you can. That's all I have to say.
