Does anybody else think that the guitar sounds like Tom Morello? It's kind of a pop song. Definitely radio friendly.....but, then again, we have only heard a small portion of the song. Hard to get too excited.  Undecided

Definitely radio friendly. This song could propel GNR back into the mainstream. Axl sounds good, and the music is fucking great. Simple, yet spectacular.

I like this song better than IRS. By far a better constructed tune with much better lyrics. Different but no "blow you away awesome." Would have liked to hear the whole thing but Wes pussed out on delivering the goods. I would have done it.

the song so far as we heard in my opinion is fuckin awesome. whats nore to come of it, I actually want to wait for studio version, its so damn hard though to not listen when things get out, wspecially when you love the band so muych, after 3 listens I ws so grrovving singin along with it , great lyrics thus far that we know, musically , well I love the direction hnads sown, have always loved evolution in music and especially GNR. 2007 will be 20 yrs Im a GNR fan, WOW.

OK, I know it's hard to say with any certainty... but IRS is clearly a demo whereas to me, Better sounds like a completed studio master.

What does everyone think as I notice many seem to think its a demo too (Trunk CD?)

Its really hard to tell. It is clearly a better quality demo than IRS. hard to imagine its from the same disc of demos. But we need to hear the whole thing to really be able to tell. I could see it playing on the radio in its current form. If its a demo, its a damn good one.

sounds like a pretty simple song nothing special.... Maybe it needs the guitar solo.. Too short to give an honest evaluation

it has nickleback potential.... It's nothing special imo..  Easy listening for sure but nothing worth the years of work..

Well I just listened to Better and it is fucking great!

First verse sounds awesome and I'm keen to see how the chrous and rest of the song sounds. Voice sounds a bit like the Oh My God voice.
