Just played IRS to new full version to my mother. I told said to her "13 years in the making, 10 million so far to produce, cutting edge and the best sound ever,  so what do you think?"  ok hmmm... it sounds what we used to listen to in the 60's. "oh"  no ..."yeah well, these are just demo version you understand" - " the real thing is coming in March - maybe"  Smiley

I agree. I heard the various november rain demos 2 years before UYI came out.
When I finally heard the final version of N. Rain, I just about died. I expect to feel the same way when I hear THE BLUES.
IRs is pretty good and better...well, the clip is too short to really give a good review. But...it's promising, and I expect the rest of the material to be even better. I'm not so sure IRS is CD quality, but it is cleaned up nicely.

rofl  I appreciate the info guys.  I have always imagined me taking the day off from work and listening to CD all day for the first time.  It would kind of ruin it for me if I listened to whatever leaked out beforehand.  Just prefernence.  But i do enjoy reading all the excitement and the descriptions of the songs though.

It's only a short section. There's a constrast thing going on. It starts off all, well all kinda Shanon hoon [blind melon] sounding , only sung by Axl and then it turns heavy and deep. It's interesting. It sounds slighly Indian too. On the first few takes i wasn't sure. Looking forward to the finished track though.

If mariah carey can have a nervous breakdown on tv and make it back with shitty music, GNR can definetly become bigger then any band out there today, i mean they play nickelback on the radio all the time and they suck.
