The part we hear in this demo is decent, but it is no where near as good as IRS IMO. ?Maybe if we had the whole song we could say for certain, but the part we have is only decent. ?I do like the intro though.

I agree with what you say except for the part about the intro in Better.  Sounds like Axl sucked up a balloon full of helium.  The song picks up after that.  Maybe that part wont even be in the final version.

Nah no word on it.. There is a new album coming in June.. Most likely will be regular BLS kick ass metal. But another BoS would kill.

I have been totally lost for the past few days since I haven't been able to access this website, but there is a backup website that i go to that had a clip of Better and it was absolutely beautiful! People are going to adore this song! I know management doesn't want us to listen to it, but I just can't help myself! I LOVE IT! I hope Buckethead comes back, his playing would totally make this song rock!!

The weird thing about this song is that it's fresh, new and everything but at the same time it makes me feel like I know this song long time. And I don't mean a similar song.

I actually like Better much better (no pun intended!) than IRS. When the band kicks in after the intro part it sounds awesome!
It's modern and groovy and Axl sounds just like Axl of old, it's great!

Yes it is very simple guitar, chord progressions - simple worked for many bands - who's to say what comes later after the cut off though

wow! what a 24 hrs its been for the GNR community!

I have only just heard the 2 clips (would yoiu believe I had to reinstall drivers on my PC) as I have managed to upload them to my iPod.

"Better" sounds awesome, easily the best thing we've heard since 91 IMO. Axls voice sounds fine - ?vintage infact, no worries there in the studio - I cant wait to hear the whole thing. This clip alone makes me think the album will be fantastic - cant wait for a Blues studio version as well.

The IRS demo sounds just like that - a demo (albeit a good one). Not too sure I agree with those who think this song is the second coming - a solid rocker for sure, nothing revolutionary though. Im not sure I like the flamenco intro, and as I thought with the poor quality demo a year ago, that first solo really blows (Finck?). Again, it's a demo - lots of potential to beef the guitars and vocals up on this one and of course real drums will sound alot better as well.
