The last guitar solo is the best part of the song. It's so sublime and cool. It just as a layed back cool feel to it.

I'm sure that sound will not be in the final cut.  I like every element of this song....really great sounding guitars that go perfect with Axl's voice.  This melody, inside of me, still searches for SOLLUTIONNN!!! Best line out there....brilliant!

funny thing is , all the non fans I play this song for as totally intrigued by the lil slap guitar/robot sound buckethead does there by himself.

and even though they all like the whole song the heavy bridge part seems to score top points.

I NEVER WANTED YOU TO BE SO FULL OF ANGER!!!

And last friday nite better was asked to be played atleast 20 times by nights end by various people at our party. even though we had winamp loaded with about 600 songs.

Cool edit pro works wonders Smiley  I took out that entire bit of electronica after the bridge and it sounds better!    I do think though there was another solo that was suppose to go in there, although I am not a music tech and have no clue what I am doing!  I will say that I only wish slash was doing the solo before the bridge there...   Ahh to dream

i think the metal bridge is cool, that ferocious riff matches Axl's incredible ferocity as he screams " i never wanted you etc..." i think its pretty cool, this is probably my favorite song so far.

yeah. all 3 of the leaks. "better" easily won as fn fav , TWAT and IRS were close to one another but not near better. TWAT seemed to be more liked by the ladies and old school gnr fans , IRS seemed to be more liked by guys and non gnr fans.

Go figure.

and hopefully gnr lawyers wont sue me over this. hahah

p.s. , why did you seem surprised I would play these songs at a party?  Huh
