This is one of the best news I've heard this year, seriously... and I also think why should they play Nightrain or Brownstone when then can play them both, or maybe Slash can play a megadeth song too, that wouldn't take him too long to learn or something....  That would be cool!!!

But seriously Mustaine can sing those songs, no need for another vocal, unless he wants more guests.

Wow, really looking forward to this, thank you!!

You ever think that? Like sometimes slash is sitting around at home with his guitar bored plugged into his amp , fuckin around just soloing then he stops.... Walks around the house like a young boy about to jack off , closes the doors , goes to the room and just hammers out the old GNR hahahah.

LOL!  that is one of the funniest analogys' I've ever heard.  Slash making sure MamaScott or anyone else isnt around so he can do his dirty little thing.

Wasn't Dave going to ask Slash to join Megadeth at one point? I know they were also writing music together before "The Project" started.
Really??? Where did you see that? I never heard anything about it!
That would be cool!!!!!

I read it somewhere awhile back.... Not sure if all the facts are correct...

Cool!

Nice chance for Slash to erase the Paulina Rubio's wound

and the Black Eyed Peas? Cheesy

Funny you saying that considering  GnR played a Christina Aguilera song on the last tour.

'Beautiful' isn't a Christina Aguilera song, she just covered it.

Both ways, I like it.

Again, I can't wait for the Mustaine with Slash thing when they play Download, if it happens, that is.

That's not true.

Beautiful is an Aguilera song. It was written for her by Linda Perry for the Stripped album.

Slash recorded a solo on a track by Paulina Rubio and the haters used it as an excuse to forget he also played on all of AFD and UYI1+2.......

Actually the "haters" used it to demonstrate Slash's lack of standards as far as who he's willing to play with.  He keeps lowering the bar.  I don't know if it gets much lower than playing on the American Idol's album.  Is Nickelback next?

So since slash is open minded we should say he lowers his bars? Umm lets see on the current tour we have had 2 guitarist play a Christinia Aguliera song? Not to mention Richard worked with N SYNC. Yea I think SLASH has DEF lowered his bars hahah  rofl

"haters"??

 rofl rofl rofl rofl

you are on a Guns N' Roses board buddy.   Slash hasn't been in GnR for over a decade.    The haters are the Slash sympathizers/pests who hate GNR yet still come to GNR boards on a daily basis.

If he wants to play with the Black Eyed Peas, he should expect some ridicule.

Guess it's great for you to come to the VR section and ease your frustration by some random hatred.  ok

BTW that song with that chick is horrible, you don't have to be a 'hater' to assume that.

I highly doubt that Slash hears most of this and either way. I doubt he cares.  Since he's doing it all for fun. And why not!

Seriously, I really don't think Slash cares about peoples' short-sited view what what good music is. Slash incorporated all different styles to create his sound. Also, there's nothing wrong with playing music outside your usual genre, it allows you to grow as a musician. I've been trying to break my own band out of what they think they should sound like and take a few risks, you could be amazed what can happen to you as a musician. Don't knock Slash for playing with these groups, instead try giving those groups a nod for their own good taste.
