Sigh.? Why does everything about this band have to be so confusing?
I think it's a bit confusing that someone that works for GNR would let an unfinished, unapproved demo to go to HD for a commercial and not think at some point that it could get out.

Wow, this is surprising. We get updates and communication from the band, and some people are still not happy. Well...I'm happy. ?Like..."ha ha" happy. ?This is probably the funniest update so far.

They really should hire an established marketing firm to try and do "spin" for them if that is what Dizzy was trying to do. While I love that there was actually communication from a band member to fans, the story needs to be at least somewhat believable.
THere is absolutely no way on God's green earth that a billion dollar corporation was building an ad campaign around an unauthorized demo of an unreleased song that they would have had no access to. No chance, the legal liability they would expose themselves to would be tremendous.
They need to start having professionals do this stuff, because there had to be a "better" excuse they could have come up with than this.

why can't they just admit that the three leaks we got before the tour were intentional.. because they were no where close to releasing an album or single before the tour was over.. so they leaked a few songs so people would know them before they were played live..
I am starting to thing that they were looking for feed back on them. WELL there great!! can we have the album now??? before i hear it all!!!

nothing is confusing here. They updated their website saying that the demo we're hearnig isn't the finished version and that the leak wasn't intentional. Nothing confusing.

Hey, who is Doug Miller? Anyone know? Doesn't ring a bell with me...
i thought he was a producer ? right? can't wait to see what he's going to say when the whole album will leak before the release or maybe before any release date !! you dont think that that will discourage Axl from releasing it do you? Wow, this is surprising. We get updates and communication from the band, and some people are still not happy. i'm happy that we're getting news on this but unhappy that nothink has happened if you know where i'm coming from

Before they go out to hire a PR firm I think they should try to hire someone that knows how to operate a label-maker.

GN'R should've KNOWN BETTER before they released this. I like reading up to date happenings within the camp, but we all figured it was un-finished. I guess they want the general public to know this ISN'T their best, obviously. I say if they have something better then RELEASE IT!

No chance, the legal liability they would expose themselves to would be tremendous. now that is true! this article has to be somewhat of a lie then doesn't it? Their Web site even had a version up for like one day with 'Better,' but the version of 'Better' that they had was an unfinished, unapproved demo. That?s why it was removed. The version that?s getting airplay is that same demo.
I don't buy it, what were they doing with this 'unapproved demo' if GNR gave them the track?

Well if they actually would release the album... then people wouldn't have to leak demos and they wouldn't be played on the radio. ?This is a direct result of the time it has taken, and I don't feel sorry for the GNR camp at all. ?It should be a sign(an obvious sign) ?that people are sick of waiting. ?HURRY UP GNR!!!!.......please

im sorry but i gotta figure tha they are doin these so called updates just to create the illusion of transparency, just to keep us happy in case it all goes tits up again. If we dont get THE announcement by the start of the tour, or a single date at least, i think the chances of seein it before mid summer are slim-none.
