There is no finished version of Better on the radio.

Meaning, a version meant for release. Which would mean it's been mixed, mastered and approved.



So I don't understand what finished album these radio DJs are talking about. It doesn't exist.

Well with all that evidence those sound like some water tight facts to me 

Of course it's not a single, but I still say the timing of the leaks last year and this was AMZINGLY good for launching a tour/keeping people intrested while the record is further delayed. Though I'm sure if they were to intentionally leak a song, Axl's first call would be to the webmaster of a message board to let him know the score!

The "Paradise City" version did air on TV late last year as planned.? They also planned on airing an alternate version featuring "Better", but it wasn't aired.? Probably due to the fact the album didn't come out.? The "PC" version is currently showing on Harley's website.?

I bet the label wants the song out to get interest for the upcoming album, but the band doesn't want it out there because it's unfinished and doesn't sound like the final version.

Dj's have been wrong about Guns N Roses, Axl, and the new album for the past 13 years...why would they all of the sudden be right about this?  just more b.s....

                         But radio's became a more corporate enity today. A lot of them get ordered to play a song and have to listen . I can't really think that all these station managers bandied togethor to stick it Axl Rose to play this song.

                         Maybe that guy will show us proof. Til then its just a confusing mess . ( Has the label taken action now ? Is there a link to it as news they are issueing cease & desist letters?)

I had heard that the cease and desist letters came from Axl's lawyer.  That was one of the reasons why I started speculating.

I understand that the HD commercial never happened, etc.? However, is it reasonable to think that they provided a mastered copy of Better to HD for use in the commericial?? I would have to imagine they didn't send them a demo to use, right?? So, I am wondering how this copy that HD had never leaked?? I'm sure there were legal documents signed by HD, however, you have to wonder how it never leaked.

In Jarmo's defense, the exact words you (we) are allowed to use concerning leaks is very complicated.
